Lawyers for Bryan Kohberger presented witnesses during a day-long hearing to try to convince Judge John Judge to move his quadruple murder trial from Latah County to Idaho’s most-populated county, Ada. Prosecutors and the families of the victims oppose the request. Kohberger faces the possibility of the death penalty if convicted of the November 2022 murders of Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin. Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy goes through the top moments in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

  1. BK did not do this. He is a patsy. For a corrupt U, corrupt LE, a corrupt town, and a “few” bad apples (frat boys/students of UoI) with well-connected, corrupt parents.

  2. some guy wrote a book on how guilty bryan kohberger is of this crime and came on crime channels to publicise it. americans are all about fame and drama and money than actually being patient to have a fair trial to serve justice.

  3. If they move the trail I hope they accommodate the family with hotels meals and paid leave from work they have a right to be at the trails . Doesn’t matter where they go it’s known worldwide

  4. This a joke to the justice system. I hope the parents sue the state, the county and remove this judge for wasting tax payers money and time. I am sure the parents have been stretched thin by this process. They need closure.

  5. Honestly this is all taking way too long. This is going to end up being like the Sarah Boone case where 5 years from now will still not see court. This is crazy. The judge has the right to stop the shenanigans that they all keep trying to pull and I really wish they would just do it and set the date. Oh well, you've had enough time

  6. Well the whole world knows ?That they found evidence linked to him plus why would you be lurking around ?Then go a really weird way back home it’s bazaar and why is this taking so flipping long In the first place maybe send him Russia or The Hague ?

  7. These comments very much prove the point of the defense. People are saying the evidence speaks for itself. You haven't even heard all the evidence. This is exactly the kind of reason a change of venue is needed. If there is no standard of a fair trial for EVERYONE, innocent people go to jail.

  8. It's not a fair trial if evidence is not shown to jurors. Kohberger evidence so far:

    ■ fascinated with murder

    ■ older sister starred in Two Days Back

    ■ sister says she thinks he did it!

    ■ DNA on knife sheath found under victim

    ■ Ordered knife on Amazon :but it's missing

    ■ Receipt of Dickies uniform at Wal-Mart

    ■ uniform is missing

    ■ Cell tower location pings at key times

    ■ his cell was using victim's Wi-Fi

    ■ video of car Stalking before murders

    ■ video of car leaving home and returning

    ■ video accelerating away after murders

    ■ video of car returning to scene

    ■ eye witness

    ■ fresh shoe print his size

    ■ girls worked at vegan restaurant

    ■ proximity

    ■ followed victims on social media

    ■ returned to scene of crime

    ■ changed license plate on car afterwards

    ■ cleaned car twice in Pennsylvania

    ■ threw trash in neighbor's cans 4:00 AM

    ■ surgical gloves to clean car & dump trash

    ■ behavior changes after murders

    ■ would not talk about murders at school

    ■ new scars on his hands and arms

    ■ Hyundai Elantra's have built in GPS

    ■ contacted victims prior to murder

    ■ kept victims ID cards

    ■ broke into colleague's home

    ■ yeah he did it

Tons of evidence we are not even allowed to know about yet has been gathered from the Washington and Pennsylvania homes along with his online activities. Jurors should know about all this to make a fair decision.

  9. I hate to break to people in Latah County. Logistics? Means nothing. Victims’ families wants and comforts, means nothing in terms of venue location. It just doesn’t.

The prosecution knows it will get a guilty verdict if it’s held there. It would be a slam dunk. If the trial is there and he’s convicted, regardless of sentence, that’s his first appeal. Top of the list.

The smart thing to do would be to move it and take that off the “appeal table.”

  10. I want to hear this trial so badly, what else do they have for evidence we don’t know about? How does someone stab four young, healthy people and not have any injuries themselves, or leave blood evidence in their car? The inside of that house had to have been painted red

  11. This case went viral around the country , does not matter where trial takes place. his counsel is clearly grasping at straws . Why put the victims family through more

  12. I'm sorry…I am in NJ and I already think he's guilty. I don't think that it could be taken anywhere that you would not find people already have him convicted
