7 Wildest Developments in Sarah Boone’s Suitcase Murder Case – Everything Law and Order Blog

Sarah Boone is on her tenth lawyer in her Orlando murder trial after multiple court-appointed attorneys asked to withdraw. Boone’s case has been delayed several times since her boyfriend Jorge Torres was found unresponsive inside a suitcase in 2020. The alleged killer’s latest lawyer, James Owens, reportedly responded to a help wanted ad created by Boone after a judge ruled she was no longer entitled to public defenders and would have to represent herself. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie takes a look at some of the biggest moments so far as Boone and her new legal team prepare for an October trial.

  1. Well there are some finalities like Jeorge’s death as a result of her willfully leaving him in a suitcase after he was begging for his life and to be let out while she laughed and mocked him. We’ve also all heard the interview with the property manager of how Sarah told her she got that gash on her leg and it was from a broken wine bottle. The intent for first degree murder happened in those videos and she’s still getting a break with the 2nd degree charge. She held all the power and used everyone including the police to get her way to show Jeorge she had the power. That video is haunting and I hope she’s convicted. Everyone are supposed to be her flying monkeys and we already know from her ex husband’s interview she is the aggressor when drinking. Around $160,000.00 has been spent on her indigent defense so far. That doesn’t include extras like gas, travel and travel expenses for experts or her unpaid previous appointed lawyers and their expenses. How much more for all the equipment when she was representing herself plus all the hard copies to go with it. Where is the line drawn? How many more hundreds of thousands of tax payer money does she get to spend? Now she’ll get a wardrobe I’m sure above and beyond what other inmates get as well. I’m actually surprised she didn’t get a box of wine included after her long days of lawyering for herself at taxpayers expense. Just the investigator has gotten over 30k and I’m sure they’ll be asking for more. More for the experts now too. She acts like she’s being treated differently but I can’t imagine other murders have gotten 200k when it’s all said and done spent in their defense not to mention all the wasted court time with the judges and their employees plus the jail and their employees and transport for her being in court instead of on zoom. This is criminally out of hand. .

  2. She had full control over EVERYTHING. Not one tear in front of police, still not one tear for Jorge. Just "I cant have this happening in my life right now". She could have made Jorge stay away, she just didn't want to. She should have been charged with violating the RO's as well. She told one cop "will I get into trouble if I don't go to court". Right then, and there they should have left. Smiling, smirking. Not normal.
