  1. I'm not buying this victim defense at all! That poor daughter losing both of her parents. This defense attorney said the night he died was the first time he ever hit her? That is not the pattern of the kind of domestic violence they are describing. And she was so afriad of him that she had asked him to help her move and be alone w her?! He was the kind of Man that was complying with therapy and counseling. She just wanted custody and he was in the way. She is a murderer 💯

  2. Saying inconsistent statements to the doctor to me looks like an abused controlled woman , easy to be honest to the dr on her own but then while the controller is there , she is afraid to be honest …. I’ve not listened to to the full trial but as anyone that’s been in a relationship with a paranoid cohersive controller , I get that she was scared of being honest while his presence was with her and the doctor

  3. I am so confused. So there’s evidence of him shooting in the house before. There’s evidence of him punching the wall. She had an injunction against him. Why is everyone saying she’s guilty and excusing his behaviour? Is it because shes not personable enough for you? !! Seriously

  4. This is the perfect example of men thinking with their penis wanting a younger woman.
I question how Doug's 2nd wife died. I think it's very suspect. I think Ashley may have thought Doug was poisoning her after reading the old texts from his 2nd wife. I don't know that she is guilty. How could a deadlocked jury come back in 40 minutes with a guilty verdict?

  5. I think the jury made the right decision. She admitted that he was never physical with her. He had previously filed for divorce. If she didn't want to be with him, why didn't she just let the divorce go through?

  6. It’s not an impossible thing but should be noted that overwhelmingly most battered women do not fear for their life and shoot their abusive husbands the first time they are hit (which is her story if I’m understanding correctly).

  7. If I was scared of someone so scared that I had to have a loaded gun with me, I prolly wouldn’t have him helping me move and be alone with him. This was fully planned. This is 1st degree murder imo

  8. she sits crying whilst listening to the 911 call , but shows no emotion listening to a young woman who had lost her mother , and subsequently her father , from murder – And she had zero reaction, much less compassion !!!

Shes playing at being a victim , she's no victim !!!

  9. He punched out a f***ing dog, people!!! She moved away, with a stayaway order, & the maniac tried to rent the house right behind hers!!!! He was a psychotic & dangerous control-freak!

Ashley's expressions & behaviors are completely genuine & reflect those of an abuse victim, as the therapist testified! Justice for Ashley!
