In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: 8-year-old Kirsten Hatfield of Midwest City, Oklahoma, disappeared in the middle of the night. Her window was cracked open, and her blood-stained underwear had been discarded in the backyard.
Kirsten was never seen again.
The little girl’s disappearance remained a mystery for 18 years until investigators in Oklahoma cracked the case after finding Anthony Palma’s DNA on Kirsten’s underwear. Anthony Palma lived near Kirsten, and several people told investigators initially that he did yard work for her family.
He provided a DNA sample, and it came back as a match to the DNA found on Kirsten’s window sill and underwear. Anthony was arrested in October 2015.
Anthony went to trial two years later in 2017 and was convicted of murder. A judge sentenced him to life in prison without parole.
Kirsten’s body still has not been found, and the likelihood of locating her remains diminished in January 2019 when Anthony’s cellmate beat and strangled him to death.

This case always upset me , I never understood it esp with the underwear .. and having the evidence why he couldn’t tell anyone where the body was ! He was a child killer that’s why he was killed in jail
Weird, that they use the word "panties" to describe a 8-year old's underwear. Poor baby… So glad that guy received prison justice. Was this the one where is was messing with a trailer days after?
Why is that woman talking like that. Isn’t it time to stop doing cringe voices on tv news ????
Who knows how long he kept her ? 😢 So sad .. in some dungeon right next door .
whoever investigated previously sucks . His RECORD stated his crime was to Home invade . obviously a woman stronger than a kid fought him however who knows what he would have done . but umm 2 doors down with similar behavior how tf did they miss that ???
just because someone is a drug addict doesn’t mean they’re a pedophile
I absolutely LOVE this narrator! I’m glad she’s returned cuz I haven’t heard her voice in a while. She adds a haunting element to her stories 👻
Looks like they missed Palma's violent history at the time, if they had followed through on this then things could have been very different.
It's a sad, sad world we're living these days, because of wicked people
Too many evil people are living in the world.
Crime like that always isn't done by strangers. But by people who know about the people that are living in the house.
I never understood why parents shut the doors of their little ones..
Sorry but the parents mainly Dad is the major suspect and a innocent man died
Not cool 👎
Shout out to that cell mate 🫡 I hope he gets money on his books
Prison inmates have moral compass, they all have children too. That’s why they will target these types of men.
People need to be careful who they let in their personal space.
where is God?
You can’t find her body because it wasn’t Antony…oh the irony
I had to stop watching.. The narrators voice.. i cant..😢
Having a hard time listening to the narrator's voice.
As a mother I would
Never be able to sleep or eat with my child missing. Just 😢
The lovely bones
The narrator is agony to listen too.
The police did not know that there were dogs that would lead them directly to the back door of this monster with such a trail.
So the landscaper who was originally found guilty for the kidnapping was killed before the dna was ever retested ? That’s sad . I hope the neighbor tells where the body is , maybe for a life without parole plea & he tells where her remains are ?
… or maybe she's alive …
Dang i thought our laws in OK were better than that….what a shame our kids aren't protected better..edit
The poor parents still no closure without her body
The narrator's talks like a deaf person
Ana ♥♥♥♥♥🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👑👑👑👑👑
Posting an aging photo of what she would look like is extremely disrespectful.
Hi…I don't often watch you. I find your approach in serious crime as SANCTIMONIOUS……
I don't think we needed to know that her mom used to use drugs, that really makes no sense. Just because you bought drugs from someone doesnt mean theyre going to assault and kidnap your child. I dont it just rubbed me the wrong way…
SMH this is just sick!!
The murder of another little angel is tragic and my heart breaks for the families however that reporter’s voice is so off putting!
Why couldn’t the police discover a criminal who had
been arrested for
violence and forceable entrance?
What a disgusting evil pos! Unfortunately this was before ring cameras and accurate dna. I am glad his jail mates took care of him.
I don't know how this guy was overlooked for all those years but I'm glad he was caught , I only wished that he had disclosed where He put Kirsten , at least give the family some closure
Sickening. That poor little princess.
Vile, man. He may have even kept her. When it comes to obvious abductions, especially those of children, the USA needs a federal law that allows the police to search every house in a set radius round the crime scene. It would be a lot of work, but it could save lives. Statistically, the odds are that the victim is known by the perpetrator and could be living close by as in this tragic case.
Got to love ❤️ DNA 💖
Karma will be waiting.
