3. It's crazy to see something so close to home. I grew up near Moreau and used to visit the state park when I was younger. I didn't know about this case until I randomly looked on facebook (I don't use it often) and saw a lot of my friends and family sharing articles of this missing girl. I am so happy she was found and can't believe something like this could happen in such a close community where we all feel mostly safe

12. I was in Lake George, not far from the crime scene when the amber alert was issued. It was a very tense few days for us locals. I can't even tell you how overjoyed I personally was when the good news came in.

    Thank God for these officers who so quickly and efficiently captured this monster…I did wonder though why they didn't follow the car bc this could have ended very differently but for that fingerprint. 39. If they'd arrested him outside her home he might not have told them where she was, in my opinion the police did the right thing. As for him having minor injuries after the arrest…oh boo hoo! Sure he'll get more in prison from what happens when people who do awful things to children are taught its not a good thing to do! Karma!

40. Did they say how he was able to get her out of the park? Generally those larger parks have cameras at the entrance and exit and keep track of plates entering and exiting. You would think they could have reviewed video to see who was coming and going. Was he in the camper? Car?
