    Jealousy when its unwarrented is a huge problem , its dangerous , however if you catch your wife with another man in your home , well then jealousy is actually understandable tbh , its a very dangerous emotion.

    If she wanted an affair because he is abusive , then do it away from your home and with people who can keep you safe leave town , move away, this felt like she was doing it as an eff you to him.
    She would have been better off using the gun in self defence on him , i would say thats far more understandable than cheating , especially as she knew what he was like.
