These parents have no problem giving deadly weapons used in wars, unsupervised, to their children. Until they are sitting in a courtroom being briefed by a judge about all the possible years in prison they are facing from being charged with for their kid’s actions, they won’t take mass killings seriously. During my time in the military for twenty years, l was only given weapons like that just once a year, under heavy supervision by trained specialists who carefully watched what l did with that weapon and the limited ammunition l was given.

Im interested in the details,,i wanna hear how the kid took the gun from the house without dad knowing IF,he never had access without dads presence,,i wanna hear how he got it to the school,and when,,without being seen,,where he knew to hide it once he got there,,,these are things that once it comes out will show a total different picture of this 14yr old " kid"!! Cops to blame they should have confiscated the weapons when they visited the house after getting the reports of the threat! The father only tried to teach his son about gun safety!

I saw the bodycam of lastyr police visit their home about a school shooting threat and the fathers action that day is so dismissive about the threat he must be locked in.

The Dad looks way more upset than the kid. Here’s the thing, if he was on the radar, and the FBI came to see you, no matter what, as a responsible parent, why would you give him an assault rifle? Not a hunting rifle, an assault rifle? A true weapon of war designed to kill as many people as possible per minute.

WHO is to blame? A country that loves guns over children.
