  1. I’m sorry but if this juror was really that unduly influenced by the comments of the clerk then she was not paying attention to the evidence that was presented during this trial 🙄 her answers come across less as genuine responses to the questions she’s being asked and more so like those of someone hellbent on sabotage and determined to throw a wrench in this case, thus necessitating a retrial.

  2. She is definitely guilty but so is Alex, she should’ve never done that crap. Imagine being his family, who couldn’t for a second believe h did this, now all hope of closure is lost because they’ll forever cling to “Becky and the entire town was out to get him” sucks. He’s too guilty to have this junk happening, so unprofessional by Becky.

  3. It’s simple. That family is cunning. They got to some jurors likely through money to push the one girl who says she was infuenced to say guilty. No one else said they were influenced to the level of changing their minds. That girl was paid to disrupt. Eventhough one guy also heard it, he says he didn’t influence him.

The juror who said it totally affected her got some compensation or bc of the connections to people in that area someone got to her. This is obvious. Especially with Alex’s antics.

  4. im in between if he's guilty or innocent if he did all that wouldn't there be more forensic evidence on him , like blood or anything. even if he did have something to do with it and im not saying he didn't i think there was someone helping him. But what is the motive ? I dont know if he did it himself and in the tree video he looked happy there with paul, what happened in that few hours?

  5. The justice system needs so much reform but there is literally so much reform needed that absolutely no one knows where we’d even start and even if we did know, trying to achieve compromises for how a future system may be structured in todays day and age is practically impossible. We are in a hole so deep with a society so divided that the legal system needs to completely fail before serious action to fix it will ever be taken. And let it be known that as soon as the legal system completely fails (which has already started) so does society. I’m afraid the future looks grim and will definitely get worse before it gets better. And let’s not forget a reformed system will most likely have AI incorporated which brings a whole host of ethical, moral and societal implications.

  6. This whole thing is such a cluster. Miss Becky has clearly acted in an unprofessional/unethical manner on several occasions/counts. Her behavior has opened the door for Murdaugh’s attorneys and anyone else to legitimately question whether Murdaugh received a fair trial. And every citizen in this country should want that for every defendant. I personally believe Alex Murdaugh is such a pitiful excuse for a human being that he shouldn’t be classified as one, and I believe there was such an overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence that any reasonable person could find him guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt (the standard is NOT beyond absolutely any and all and every possible minute doubt). BUT, he should have a trial free of any doubt of jury tampering.

At the same time, the first juror’s testimony today threw up red flags. It actually made me cringe at how long it took for her to begin to answer the questions posed to her. It was beyond a nervous delay. Every other juror’s testimony flowed smoothly/naturally. Add in the fact that she did not bring any attention to these concerns through the six weeks of trial, and the fact that she declared her decision was free of outside influence during jury polling…it makes you wonder what threats and/or bribes she might have recently received.

  7. I read Becky Hill’s book on my channel when it first came out because I couldn’t find a free audio of it, I decided if I had to buy it, I might as well read it aloud in case someone else was looking for a free audio of it like I was. It’s not a perfect job of reading, but it’s free. 😊

  8. I hope any claims by the jurors that ultimately… Becky Hill's alleged "choices of words" against the defendant's credibility… DIDN'T alter their decision… isn't overly relevant to the court. The concept being in other words, that so long as the jurors CLAIM they would've voted guilty with or without Becky's verbal attributes, then Alex's guilty verdict agould be upheld. That said, it's somewhat similar to a student of education being accidentally handed the answer sheet to a test by their teacher, instead of a study guide. Then in time, it's discovered that the student was aware for a while that they were given the wrong test source by their teacher, yet still refused to do the honorable thing by coming forth themself to notify their teacher appropriately. At which point, what's to say that this student would've been honorably trustworthy enough not to write the test answers down on a small peice of paper, in order to be used as a cheat sheet…. The proper solution would be for this student to not be given the benefit of the doubt and secondly have to take a revised test. Similarly, the jurors shouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt and Alex should indeed be granted a new trial in such an instance of Becky interfering with procedural justice.

  9. This woman is hesitanting to long in-between her answers. If the court clerk had influenced her decision that drastically she had the option to notify the judge immediately before deliberations began. It is so obvious to me that some way Alex Murdaugh had someone promise the woman something. I have no doubt she is lying now. Because "Paul-Paul's" tape of Alex being right there is not lying. Alex murdered his wife and son.
