18. These instances are actually lower, alot lower, considering the age of consent has only recently been raised, within the past decade or two. The age of consent in most states is 16, followed by 17, and then 18 in like 4 or 5 states. You also have to realize it is only illegal in these cases because the person(s) are in positions of authority over the other person. Doesn't matter if they are 16,17,18, or 21, it is still illegal.
    The reporting has only increased because it get clicks, draws eyes, and gets people talking.
    Also, I would like to add. What the heck, look at the pictures they use. For women, they always use pictures where they look super hot, where the women are all dolled up, wearing bikinis, etc, but this is the first time I've seen them use a picture of the woman with her t*ts literally out. Wtf, come on now. They (media) knows what they are doing.
    Ok, last thing. The woman usually aren't the ones initiating it. It's usually the males who find the woman attractive, and they will try their best to "conquer" her. The young women, who are usually literally only a few years older than their students, are told to thwart off any advances immediately and sternly, and to let them know it is inappropriate, and give verbal warning, and a bunch of other stuff like nlt get too close, don't spend time alone, because over time whether they want to or not, will build a bond, develop feelings, and a relationship, but that they must not get those feelings/relationships confused and mistake it for romantic/non platonic. It's actually apart of training and literature, and the books they get.
