It's tragic how many mentally ill people get killed in situations like this… and even more tragic how many are locked up for life. There aren't a lot of alternatives but it's still tragic.
Does cops did not give proper warning they never once said that they were going to fire if the guy did not comply they should have reiterated that if that's what they were planning on doing opposed to Whispering it to each other and they could have used the taser first off but most cops are too afraid
