Funny how the cops always seem to Loose the paperwork in cases like this. I remember when I was 21 getting arrested for a made up charge the having 3 cops throw me on the ground and kick the crap out of me. I spent a night in jail and the next day got bailed out with a court date. Funny when I showed up to court there was no record of me Ever being arrested. I have had some serious back ground checks to get security clearance to work in Nuke plants and military bases and always disclose this information but No one has ever been able to find anything out about this bogus arrest. Too bad for me that we all were not carrying around cell phones back in 1986 or I might have had a nice case.

There WAS Surveillance video of the incident that is "gone". The judge laid blame with the Sheriff for that. They throw him down and beat him because he took "an aggressive posture." The first story was he fall. If there was Justice they would all be prosecuted; from the Sheriff down.

OMG……this poor mother. I can't imagine the grief and probably guilt this poor woman is feeling. She did nothing wrong, but any mother would feel that way when your son ends up in this kind of situation just because you contact the police in the hope and trust that they will assist you and be the professionals they claim to be. Protect and serve played no part in this situation. This is so terribly heartbreaking. I hope you are going to try and pursue this case John, or try to find someone as qualified as you to bring this family justice. I'm just so sad about this.

You don't and won't find any paperwork or documentation of the incident, I bet they won't have any cctv footage either, & you shouldn't if you intended to cover up the incident and protect your officer's…very suspicious and reeks of corruption
