  1. I'm aware of at least 20 men who have done seriously for crimes they did not committ. They all happen to be Black. I cannot think of even one White man in a similar situation. There are probably a few, but I don't imagine many. White people wonder what Institutionalized Racism is. They to look at this. I'm White.

  2. Unfortunately, this happens a lot.
They know that little boy (at the time) did not kill that beautiful girl.
I said from the beginning- I think it's the dad / moms boyfriend.

  3. This man lost half his life & is still fighting for his innocence?! The only thing he should be doing is enjoying his life & a huge settlement!

  4. I hope with DNA these kind of cases will stop happening. Or even free a lot of people who are not guilty of the crimes they were charged with. This man seems like a good man. I hope he will have a good life in the future.

  5. Okay so if I did NOT commit a crime, I would never come up with a lie to just get them off of me!! Once you tell them something and admit to it, your going to be jailed and that’s stupid!! I would NEVER lie about something like that just to get them off of me!!

  6. After this kind of thing they should prosecute the officers. If they retired already take their pensions. I dont care if they died and the pension is passed on to other family members. Reclaim every penny of their pensions. That will make them think twice about committing these kind of acts and riding off into the sunset

  7. Despite the fact that he had an alibi, he still was convicted and sentence to life, again the police didn't do their job properly at all, for pressuring him despite he's telling the truth he didn't do it, it's wrong, but finally he's a free man and he's living a better life.

  8. This sucks, wasting 40 years of his life for a crime he didn't commit, and what angers me is the fact that he was with a friend when the murder occurred, the police didn't do their job perfectly.

  9. this breaks my heart to be honesty. this poor mans life was completely ruined because of this fucking police department… unreal

  10. I just want to hug him, this is awful. Too many innocents are still locked up until this day. I pray he gets this charge of murder off of his record.

  11. I was so happy when I found out that they got married. He seems like such a sweet guy, even after four decades he isn’t prison-hardened. Bless him

  12. gosh, this is sad! how can you not give him some kind of compensation so he can at least live a good life so inhumane!!!!!

  13. This man has spent more time in prison than I've been alive. Geezus. Our system owes him whatever the fuck he asks for, for the rest of his damn life.

  14. My heart 💔 Everybody is speaking truth! No money as long as he’s still charged with the murder. Sad what he’s been through. So many prayers 🙏

  15. He's extremely lucky not to get the death penalty. If you're reading this comment, YOU CANNOT SUPPORT THE DEATH PENALTY. Hopefully this man will sue the shit out of the state justice system. 50 mil should be the minimum.

  16. LOL People do not confess to something they didn't do.
Question 1: did you have sex with a child? NO
Question 2,284: did you have sex with a child? NO
Question 3,483,388 did you have sex with a child? NO They could ask til they are blue in the face but if you didn't do it, you didn't do it. Whether it's murder, or rape or any charge. No one is going to just confess to something they didn't do. I will never believe that.

  17. This is so heart breaking to watch. His lawyer at the time should have been charged for not using the evidence to protect this guy. This is not right! His sentence should of been removed from his record straight away.

  18. Story of Black men in America, Is exactly like Jesus…. Jesús is black…. But no one wants to talk about that. The children of god have been persecuted for centuries because of their actions in earth.

  19. When he started talking & crying… I was ready to punch judges, DA’s…Oh my gosh!! I can’t imagine what him & his family had to go through!! The court knows Jesse is innocent. They need to clear his record then help him in any financial way he needs. This sh*t makes me crazy!
