In late April 2000, around 5 p.m., Stephen Cooke picks up Heidi Bernadzikowski from work downtown in the car they share. He takes her home, then runs some errands. When he returns a few hours later, he opens the door and crosses the threshold to a nightmare — Heidi’s throat has been cut. MORE: https://bit.ly/3lH6JOf

  1. I just watched a Dateline episode featuring this murder and I had a few questions, but I will only put a couple, here. Maybe, someone will answer me. Did the guys who committed the murder get paid by the boyfriend? Did any of the boyfriend's family remember him talking about taking a flight to another state (to meet the killers and set the plot)? I wonder why the Dateline episode did not mention anything about the boyfriend changing the locks of the door and giving a key to the killer. I hate it when important details like that are left out.

  2. When a suspect has an account for every second of the time the murder occurs I’m suspicious. A receipt for every fast food joint , gas station Walmart or whatever. A part time worker taking out insurance on their partner for 3/4 of a million after 6 months of dating, red flag.

  3. Monthly premiums on two life insurance policies that large would cost $500 or more per month, which is a very large expense for a couple with mundane jobs..if they had kids it would have made sense.

  4. They said it was a come to Jesus time where was the invisible man when this person was getting murdered? It’s amazing that people actually believe in the invisible man. The great awakening is coming it is our ancestors👽 the ones who made us and universal militaries bringing us there you’ll see 4200 creepy different religions down the toilet great awakening this November

  5. I know the defence attorney has to defend their client but regardless the absurd scenario they portray of the brutal murder is truly for the birds… I’m sure a 5 year old can come up with a more creative scenario

  6. It seems that the 'not-guilty and innocent' defense of a family member who is a murderer is used by many families who just can't or won't accept that their loved one has committed murder.

  7. Everyone that said they knew the bf/husband did it, YOU WERE WRONG! He was exonerated. Her family also settled a civil suit with him for the 700k. Google will tell you everything!

  8. I knew it that this Caucasian guy was the mastermind behind the killing but , as usual, he enjoyed freedom for almost 10 years because of , white privilege 😢. Law enforcement tends to be biased in favor of certain ethnic groups whose ancestors hail from Europe . When will cops turning a blind eye on criminals because of their race stop?

  9. Oh, I'll arrest this man, she was stabbed, he's a butcher who uses knives…ding he must have done it! What a fool of a cop. No wonder so many people are wrongly convicted in America.

  10. The mastermind can deny all he wants but the overwhelming evidenced points back at him! Glad to know he won't get to see the outside world. RIP Heidi

  11. I sincerely despise defense attorneys. What they will do for money is sickening. They think everyone is as stupid as their clients.
