Six-year-old Chance Crawford died this week after he was tortured by his babysitter, according to the Orange County District Attorney in California. Ernest Love, 41, faces several charges including murder and torture. Love was a barber who was babysitting Chance while his mother worked at a hospital. This is why we need universal child care. Working mothers should not be forced to choose between their job and leaving their child with someone unqualified and untrustworthy… I bet if she had the money to pay for child care, this never would have happened.

For ppl mentioning about where's the father etc…look up the other tragedy involving a " father " setting house on fire with his 3 biological kids in it because the mother was working..once the relationship goes bad it's best to support yourself and child ..dna means nothing to someone evil..this case the monster wasn't even related so how dare he physically discipline a child who's not even his ? I feel for the mother empathy so strongly because I'm a mother too but i work around my kids schedule to avoid any schedule where i have no sitter or have to leave them home alone ..these are the sacrifices once you decide to do it on your own
With chance of having a healing fracture… this brings me to question the mother's judgment!
From a nurses standpoint, any individual would coddle fracture body part, the grimace on the face, making sure not to use that body part, and the sounds of im in pain will be voiced….
The mother being in the medical field didn't realize… how her own childs arm was disformed… and during play protecting that arm, and the feeling of pain…grimaces on this baby's face!
The child had to have…displayed or even voiced how he didn't want to go with this monster!😢

So, anyone else find the DA's statements abt Mom, a little weird? Hmmm 🤔 No? Just me? It's just typically in cases where something happens to a kid by a strangers hand or at school or daycare, they ALWAYS ask what was Mom'sDad's reaction. & The policelawyers ALWAYS answer. So it's making me READ REALLY curious but I don't want to speculate &end up hurting anyone. But the non-answer abt past experiences or knowledge also jumped out at me.
