  1. Hey Ben, basically you're right about them hoping some people forget about the refund option, but more importantly: since u have to adhere to THEIR third party refund policy, they can request whatever information they want to issue you the refund. And from there they can either sell ur info, keep it, and do whatever they want

  2. Hard time finding an article to complain on. In general I'm ticked off that an item I recently bought on the amazon site is actually coming from overseas as opposed to coming directly from one of their warehouses. The item infomation has no mention that the item would come from that location.

  3. I unfortunately got scammed recently on Amazon. There was an RTX 4070 for 50% off and the way it was listed looked completely legit! I wasn't the only one who easily mistook this as real because the Reviews show 140 Reviews and 4 Stars. Very soon after the Purchase, the item immediately showed as "Shipped" – which is what increased my suspicion and very soon after the "Store" disappeared.

After contacted Amazon they said there's nothing they can do until after the suspected Shipping date – which is 20 Days from when I purchased it. However, Amazon has assured me that if there is any issues after the Delivery date then I Can get a refund. So, at least there's that.

  4. The astronomical number of knock-off and unlicensed products on Amazon is cannot be understated. We were looking for a discontinued part and found it on Amazon. The listing said it was OEM, but when it arrived, it was clearly 3D printed garbage. Just like with Facebook, we reported it and never heard back.

  5. I only buy from eBay and it pisses me off when they ship through Amazon and then put fake USPS tracking on there I don't care what I bought if I don't get it I get a refund even if it was $6 even if it was a dollar take that China I bought from eBay not Amazon so it would be put in my mailbox

  6. Very informative and also love the way he bust the scammers.
Am a genuine trader guys please do reach out.
Had that guy who lost 400k to scammers given me that money I would have turned it into 20 million. 50 times

  7. This happened to me. I bought a $1300 gaming PC for only $500. Good deal right? Well, it was late for shipping. And then my dad (the one who order it for me) got a email saying the seller has left Amazon after checking out why it hasn’t shipped yet. So either I just lost the $500 or I’m going to get a refund. I don’t know. I will edit the comment when I find out. And I don’t have a lot of money and a gaming pc has been a dream for a few years so I hope I can get a refund.

  8. I’ve been using Amazon for years and been a prime member and have never been scammed. If you easily look and read what you buy before you buy it, you can tell if it’s a scam or not. Check the reviews always, check the seller and who it’s being shipped from, I always try to get it shipped from Amazon if possible or reputable sellers. The other day, I saw a figurine I wanted and it was suspiciously discounted at a very cheap price for two figures and the name was a VERYYY long Chinese name with no spaces. Was way too sketchy and did not look back. I lowkey did wanna try buying it to see because Amazon can always refund you easily. But a rule of thumb, just look at reviews and only buy top seller items

  9. I kept seeing the ads. So I looked them up at Walmart. They were on sale normally $199 but the sale price was $59. I rushed down to my store because they only had two left. When I was checking out it rang up for $25. I thought it was wrong so I had a manager check. And yes it was. They were just trying to get rid of them. So this scam got me a real pizza oven.

  10. I left a 1 star review for a product.
the company that sold it offered me 3 times the price I paid for it to give them a 5 star review.
I refused, my honor and integrity can not be bought.
But knowing this happens you can not trust the rating system from Amazon.

  11. If I buy on amazon and it is a sony camera, I buy directly from sony or bestbuy because I don't trust no seller and anyone. I am also not hunting deals and this is what happens when you want a bargain and you get screwed. I would rather pay more than having to deal with a chargeback that may take months.

  12. This is why i stopped buying from ebay, the real scam is they hold your money for 2 to 3 weeks or until you request a refund, you can imagine they are sitting on a lot of peoples money, Ive told ebay and paypal about this but I dont know if there is anything they can do.

  13. i found a wireless webcam (for watching my dog) that was 120 regularly and i got it for 24 bucks…the app asks me for a subscription every several days, but doesnt actually require one to use for a live view…it only requires a subscription when you want to have 30 days of cloud storage, but it still had a SD card slot…for what i need, its perfect

  14. Before finishing waching I sort of predict it is just another Aliexpress stuff sold on Scamazon. And ebay, and probably even Etsy at this point. Watched their ad in the TV today, hand made, with a demo. The audacity of a platform that has turned into a mass produce selling hub, where true original creators lost chances.

  15. Amazon sucks. I hate it so much and they came out of nowhere and monopolized or so it seams and is supper annoying. I also hate there prime service thing it sucks too

  16. This Chinese third party Amazon gave me the money and let me stay with the product , just asked me for a positive review ❤ . Amazon should check this .

  17. I purchased two gas generator from two different Amazon sellers based in china for $55.00 each. Both gas generators were selling for over $350.00 by other sellers including Amazon. The Chinese sellers later cancelled their Amazon accounts, the tracking info hasn't been updated from the date the order was placed. Amazon later decided to refund me of both generators. I lost some money still due to exchange rate. My credit card is denominated JMD.

  18. You got a refund because Amazon recognized the scam and instead of saying so, they simply awarded the refund themselves. They likely got wind of the drama and stepped in, froze the seller accounts finances and used all proceeds to cover refunds. Which is not how it is normally done unless Amazon is taking action against a seller.

Normally since it was a third party seller there would be other steps before your refund. Which is why the seller created a shipping label. To stall the process. Once it is in route or a label has been made, the seller can refuse refund until the item is returned and inspected for damage and such. By making a label you are now forced to wait until it arrives, pay for return shipping if applicable and wait until they receive it and inspect. Meanwhile months have gone by and the seller has closed shop and reopened under a different seller profile,

  19. Saying people won't check the seller and shipper is some boomer tier advice. Everyone knows to check that. This entire video could have been summarized with "I was scammed, check the seller and shipper on Amazon links, the reviews are for the product not the seller" but then you wouldn't be able to juice ads on your videos as much would you?

  20. Don’t forget, Amazon gets a MAJORITY of the money you pay a seller. So Amazon has NO incentive to correct the issue either… that is why they have made it increasingly harder to request refunds from third party sellers. It is even harder now than it was when you posted this video. They basically say you should have read the sellers refund agreement before purchasing and give you no way to contact a real person.

  21. Happened to me last year trying to buy 70" tv for $90 (i was hoping to catch the seller on a typo). Weeks went by with delays. Tracking label for an international carrier saying it was in the system. I submit and receive a refund and then get an envelope and a notice that its been delivered. The envelope had an.. erm.. adult aide.. i wont say toy but its purpose is to cut off circulation to a specific part of the male anatomy.
