The man accused of murdering tech CEO Fahim Saleh in a New York apartment complex took the stand and gave a full confession to the brutal killing. Tyrese Haspil said he wore a plastic face shield with a baseball cap and sunglasses when he rode an elevator with Saleh in July 2020. Haspil outlined the entire attack for the jury inside a Manhattan courtroom. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks it down.

Saleh was the founder and CEO of Gokada, among other ventures, before his tragic murder. Saleh was Haspil’s boss and a mentor of sorts. Haspil went into graphic detail about his brutal attack on Saleh, explaining he “tased him in the back” when he got off the elevator and “took out a knife” before stabbing him in the neck. The alleged killer went on to detail his motive, claiming he killed Saleh after stealing money from him so he wouldn’t “have to pay him back.”

Will never forget this case. Absolute insanity
Our justice system is a JOKE
He has that crazy look in his eyes 😳
Chief of staff that only makes $30/hr in NYC at a tech firm? Something is not right here.
is there no death sentence in the US
Fuxxing demon
Life for life.
hideous monster
You know what they will do when you hire them then are surprised they do what you know they will do.
The victim gave him a break and didn't have him prosecuted only for him to turn around and take his life. That's crazy
Devil
A jury on Monday found Haspil guilty of one count of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree grand larceny, one count of second-degree burglary and other charges, according to the DA’s office statement.
what is up wit this title lmaooo its not funny but the way they worded makes it sound like he's alive without a head
DEI hire
The poor victim put him on a payment plan. To think, if Saleh went to the police like most people, he would be alive.
We’re all thinking it.
How did they find out who was the killer?
Try that in a Small Town. City folks are strange
The victim was too kind you can't be kind to a criminal.
His smile look scary to me 😢
😮😢. This story makes me wish I was Batman……I don’t really even like Batman
always, always the same people.
This is terrible.
Money is the root of all evil
This case is just so disturbing… All for that fake Instagram lifestyle. This guy doesn't deserve the death penalty, that's too easy… he must live a long full life in a windowless jail cell, too short to stand in and to narrow to lay down in.
Greed and envy are two very ugly things. This man was kind enough to give you a chance and a powerful position and trust you and even didn’t even report you and let you save face and you still took even more. Shame on you
I never understood this case at the time. Finally more information.
Evil fool!
This guy commited first degree murder had it planned out, dressed up, and cleaned it up and on top hes smiling
He’s smiling too !!!!! OMG he’s a true monster
Greedy people are everywhere, it could be your mom your son your sister your neighbor, and I apologize if I cause controversy but pedophiles are same they are around and you don’t know who is what … the world is full of angels and also demonds they hide in people. Be careful
This is the reason why most don’t want to give them an opportunity 🤦🏽♀️
Damn
Sick world we live in… sad
A lot of people who are supposedly in regular jobs are becoming too comfortable with murder. What is going on? I feel too many people in tech are turning to killing. This isn't the first time I have heard of people killing each other for some minor issues.. Is this just in tech or is something else going on?
So ungrateful. He was given so much yet didn’t appreciate anything. Can’t believe he thought he was going to get away with it in this day and age. RIP 😢
The boss was too naive and foolish. It’s no way I’m getting on elevator with someone dress in full mvrder gear all blck.
Omg, horrific!!😮😮
Trust no one….. smh
Dp
Usual suspects
so a luxury apartment doesnt have security and just lets someone walk in like that?
Dey iz be tryin keep a blagg man down. Finna know wutiamsyin? 😡
These are the type of people that push other r@ces to h@t€ us…I am not sad anymore when they are being rejected everywhere.
Never trust a b….
What a disgusting individual
Wow this is just horrible!! This guy could have called the police and told you him he didn't have to put him back and just delivered him to the authorities. This is so sad! He trusted you and given you everything that a person could have dreamed of. You can't trust anyone these days! 😢
My aunt once told me never to thrust a desperate person. When some people work for or, are surrounding by wealthy people, they start to pretend that they, themselves are wealthy.
