  1. There’s a baby under that roof that she said that lives there. For the baby’s sake and anyone else’s I hope she’s placed somewhere safe and her mental health is important but so is the safety of others.

  2. I doubt she isnt taking her medication because of her insurance as she stated so Florida does not need to chip in and buy her medication . Shes an attorney and travels the world.

  3. This Is the saddest interrogation I've seen. I feel so bad for her but I'm so thankful for this detective he treated her so well. I hope she was able to get the care she needed.

  4. I truly and wholeheartedly wish that science and medical research would start increasing focus on curing mental health/neurological issues, along with other medical prominent diseases that kill so many lives. We've come so far in technology, yet the progress seems to falter at human diseases. It baffles me that millions upon millions are spent, with seemingly no progress. Humbly, I may be wrong. It's just sad that it seems to be stagnant.

  5. Like why are the voices always telling them to do evil things and to hurt themselves and others? Like why isnt there the flip side where they are skipping through pond with rainbows and butterflies and the voices are just telling them the world is wonderful

  6. My opinion is. This interview- while was done in a very kind way- should have been ended and she should have been taken instantly to a hospital to speak with professionals and to be helped right away. To me bc this didn’t happen- this interview in my opinion most likely will not be admissible. Not a lawyer but. Just sayin

  7. These comments are so inciteful and compasdionate. I thank everyone who know her snd took the time to comment. Others watching never know if a person is sincere or not. I am happy she is getting help. Every person suffering from a mental health condition should be able to get the health they need.
Someone posted the officer was patient. I disagree. When she started wavering back and forth askibg for an attorney, and then changing her mind, he should have ended the interview becau clearly she was having issues making a decision.
    Eatchibg her is sl sad.

  8. Detective; “if we charge you with attempted murder will you sit down?”
    Beatriz ; “yes”.

It’s hilarious in a sad way. I think it’s the first time a Detective has been threatened unless someone got more serious charges.

  9. What an absolute amazing officer and his interview technique. Patient, calm and soothing approach throughout the whole interview. Kudos to him and I hope she got the help she so badly need.

  10. This is so heartbreaking <3 My step aunt has Schizophrenia and BPD, she's been institutionalized off and on since the 70's. She graduated college, perfect pitch, could play 6 instruments and most of them by EAR! She turned 19, and that summer she was never the same. 🙁

I hope Beatriz gets the help she deserves <3

  11. Id always read in medical books that schizophrenia usually develops in males c 17yrs old and in females c 21. I was led to understand that it is commonly misdiagnosed by even senior doctors who confuse it withvother disorders and that it never or maybe rarely begins in anyone after c age 25.

  12. How did this chick become a attorney!? 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️i understand her mental illness but let’s not forget what she did people, no excuse for this whatsoever
