The incident unfolded when Detry Wogerman and Laralynne Nabozny were stopped by police while “traveling” without a valid driver’s license. As the situation escalated, the two individuals refused to comply with the officers’ requests, leading to a charged confrontation.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, in response to the incident, issued a stern statement emphasizing that “the law is real” and that they will not hesitate to enforce it, regardless of an individual’s personal beliefs or affiliations. As a result of their actions, both Wogerman and Nabozny were charged with resisting an officer, with one of them facing the additional charge of resisting violently.

The Geneva Convention concerns prisoners of war, and is an International treaty with voluntary compliance, and no stated penalties for countries that violate the treaty. Not relevant to a traffic stop!
