Bodycam footage shows the shocking moments surrounding the kidnapping of two 6-week-old babies after their mother was shot multiple times by a Georgia woman in 2021. Savannah police said 25-year-old Angela Montgomery shot 23-year-old Gabrielle Rodgers and fled the crime scene with both of the infants. A SWAT team rescued the twins, who were unharmed, and arrested Montgomery later that day. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the horrifying attack that shook up the lives of Rodgers and her family.

  1. Wait… if you hit a cop with a car while fleeing its attempted murder… shooting a woman 3x once in the head to steal her baby is assault?

  2. Not only did she attempt to murder an innocent mother and steal her children, but she tried to frame her sister? This woman is a danger to everyone and should not be allowed back in the public.

  3. This woman is so strong 💪 I cant believe she was not only able to survive this but she was able to stay coherent and tell the cops who did this so they could rescue her babies. Wow.

  4. This was so sad! She needs to be sentenced to the maximum time the law allows which is 2o years for Aggravated Assault, 5 years for possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, Kidnapping, and endangering minors. I located the update and the defendant Angela Montgomery was sentenced to 70 years. This is a Life Time Movie story.

  5. People local to this need to protest the “aggravated assault”
That’s a ridiculous charge. This was attempted murder. Effing politicians….

  6. My goodness. Ms Rogers was a literary superhero. I dont know how she was shot 3 times one of those to her head and she still finds the strength within herself to not only to find help but to give information about what happened and who did it. Because of her sheer will she directed the police and they found her babies safe and happy. This was very emotional to watch. Seeing her sister crying and telling the guy that MsRogers had been shot and the boys were taken broke my heart so much. I cried right along with them. Thank goodness that Ms Rogers is okay and thank goodness her precious baby boys are safe. Best wishes for this family!!

  7. the law is crazy this women spoke clearly and calmly and with sense she is not crazy she planned this…..she needs life in prison

  8. i feel like the montgomery character may have DID and “gabby” is an ego she created to do her dirty work. not a plea of insanity, just noticed from the interview

  9. Stories like this that show the care and professionalism LEOs, EMTs and healthcare providers. Everyone pulled together as a community to save lives.
