Harrowing bodycam and dashcam footage captures the incredibly dangerous actions of a handcuffed suspect who stole a Colorado State Trooper’s cruiser, leading to a destructive chase on June 20th. According to authorities, Anthony Alphonso Sanchez III managed to get behind the wheel of the police vehicle while officers were searching his own car after initially taking him into custody for fleeing earlier.

The intense video shows troopers frantically attempting to stop Sanchez as he recklessly speeds away in the stolen cruiser. In a desperate bid to end the pursuit, spike strips were deployed – but Sanchez still barreled forward before violently slamming into a semi-truck parked on the side of the road. Tragically, Sanchez did not survive the high-impact collision. I live in Central Florida, and two police cars have recently been stolen… Which ended up killing innocent people… How is it? There isn’t some protocol to keep police cars from being stolen so often ??? the public deserves to have more responsible behavior from their police force

Who puts tire strips out on the road for a vehicle at a very high speed with a line of cars stopped and waiting. Odds are, at that rate of speed, he’s gonna lose control. Unreal!!! They are “lucky” that more innocent bystanders weren’t seriously injured or killed.
In this case the criminal saved the taxpayers the cost of supporting him in prison. The taxpayers will have to pay for a new police vehicle but a net savings in the end for the taxpayers. Sadly a trucker or trucking company is having to get a truck repaired or replaced, that poor truck and driver.
