Bodycam footage shows the moments surrounding the arrest of a Utah man who allegedly pointed a large toy gun at people on October 23. The Cottonwood Heights Police Department said Sven Oakeson became resistant and combative when confronted by officers. He was arrested and charged with two counts of assault on a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, and disorderly conduct. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down.

  1. What crime were they investigating exactly. In order to demand name and date of birth they need reasonable articulatable suspicion of a crime. They said he was carrying a nerf gun. But what’s the crime exactly? They never mentioned an actual crime. U ppl need to brush up on the constitution

  2. I love how often I see/hear a cop say "You're under arrest!" and the suspect goes "No! I'm not!"
Like, what's going to happen? The cop will go, "Oh? My bad. Sorry, dude."
    Fools. All of them.

  3. Hate to say it but dude could have grounds to sue. I mean all he did was play with a nerf gun and the cops attacked him. He obviously has mental issues but still, he didn't commit a crime until he was attacked.

  4. All the cops saw him put in the toy in his belt did when he goes to draw it again they're all like oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh like he's pulling a gun l9l

  5. If he thinks he's Satan, he's not very convincing, trying to shoot random things with a toy gun, only to get himself arrested.

No wonder he loses the war in heaven.

  6. Guy didn’t actually do anything wrong or break a law with his toy gun, more cops doing feelings enforcement rather than the law. Then of course they escalate it and he breaks a law… good job… next making a gun with your finger will get you arrested because someone was offended or scared 😂
