Bodycam footage allegedly shows a golf course greenskeeper ramming a police cruiser with a stolen tractor after a pursuit on May 4. Key West police said Ethan Layne allegedly drove the tractor through a college dorm building in an attempt to kill two students before leading officers on a chase. Authorities said, “Layne went to the college with the specific intent of killing two individuals.” Layne was arrested without further incident after ramming the cop’s car. He was charged with aggravated assault, grand theft of a vehicle, attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, and two more counts of attempted murder, among other charges.
