Bodycam and dashcam footage shows the moments Wisconsin women fled from police during a traffic stop on October 4. The Wauwatosa Police Department said the suspects were captured after allegedly speeding away from officers after being pulled over on suspicions of stealing from Dick’s Sporting Goods. The driver, Dereonna Anderson, was captured and charged in connection to the retail theft. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie has the details.

The intense video captures the officers attempting to detain the women after pulling their vehicle over near a shopping mall. However, the driver suddenly speeds off, nearly striking one of the officers. A dramatic chase ensues as squad cars pursue the fleeing suspects at high speeds through residential streets. Eventually, the women ditch the vehicle and attempt to flee on foot before being apprehended.

  1. They should enact a federal law that requires a minimum sentence of at least five years with no chance of early release to anybody who leads the police on a high speed chase, even if the initial crime was a traffic offense or stealing a candy bar.

  2. Anderson, she is definitely a menace to society. Did she imagine how many innocent lives she jeopardized, by speeding and ignoring every traffic law law in existence. We, and our families are on those roads minding our business and abiding by the laws. You showed everyone that you do not care about the lives of other people. Stop it!!!🤔🙏🏾

  3. This is a prime example of what happens when you no longer punish or prosecute “petty” crimes.. I love how she politely used her turn signal during the chase. 😂 Her using turn signals while in a high speed chase 😭😭😭

  4. 1;10 Don't understand why cops use Sirens all the cars move out of the way for the suspect when she stopped why not block her in you could have ended it this is how innocent people die she she had crashed

  5. Only a $1,500 bond for reckless driving, evade allude, retail theft, all the other traffic infractions and who knows whatever else? That’s insane. I’ve seen someone have a higher bond for weed possession.

  6. 👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺👖👕👔🦺🩱🥻🥻👘👗👗🧦🧦🧥🧥🩱🩱🥻👘👘👗🧦🧥🧥🧤🧣🧣

  7. This type of chase is absolutely reckless and should never be allowed. This type of chase exposes others to extreme dangers, injuries, and death with little to no worthwhile return. It would be far better to simply allow the speeding individual to continue their journey, which would be far less dangerous, and eventually, the speeding individual would cease speeding. This all, like most things in the US, is about money and nothing other.
