There are lots of protective large dogs that aren’t pit bulls.
As someone that dislikes dogs, I don't understand the people that love them. So a dog wants your dog, but you'd rather the dog mauls you instead, risking your own life for a dog. Sadly, babies and children are often innocent victims of these dreadful creatures.
This is why people believe pitties are a bad breed. Owners that cannot control their dogs should not have them! It’s the owner’s responsibility completely…

Girl I feel your pain. I was recently mauled by a Pit Bull mix. It took a huge chunk out of my arm. Everyday is wound care, climbing medical bills and I’m in terrible pain. Get this the owner of the dog is more upset about the dog going to the pound than me being mauled. 😮
That poor woman could have been killed. Her little Yorkie was probably terrified too. The Pitbull owner shouldn’t take the dog around people, let alone to a 7-11, if she can’t control it.

I'm not on the pit owners side here because obviously something bad happened but everyone did say she was the one that yelled to call the police.
