New Jersey police were called to the scene after someone reported a possible hit-and-run accident. Police found a car that matched the description provided and noticed significant damage to it. Upon running the plates, they discovered the car belonged to Lianna Graniglia. Officers then arrived at Graniglia’s apartment and questioned her about the incident, as well as requested her to perform field sobriety tests. After she performed the tests, officers believed she failed and took her into custody for DUI.

  1. Never talk to the police. She should have asked for an attorney immediately. I'm only a quarter through the video & she is saying WAY to much.

Unfortunately, people think the cops are in charge for accountability. It's the judge & your lawyer talks for you.

  2. It's nice to see someone remorseful and cooperative. Yeah i mean .. Probably not bright to just say I DID IT, IT WAS ME but like… She knew it was going this way no matter what. Might as well just get it over with.

  3. I guess this was the proper way to recover from a mistake like this. She shouldn't have left the scene but called the Police on herself shortly after. Everyone involved was cooperative. She'll have the best chances in court because she did this..

  4. This very polite and cooperative 22 year old actually performed quite well on her FST’s, with the exception of mistakingly saying “H” instead of “X” on her ABC’s and taking one extra step back on the “walk & turn” test, most likely because she was extremely nervous. She clearly didn’t know the value of exercising her right to remain silent!! Without her confession, there’s no way LE could prove in court how much alcohol was in her system, if any, at the time she had been driving as she could’ve easily consumed alcohol AFTER she had returned home!!

  5. Ok he was driving, they got into a fight, there's no way after a night hanging and partying with your bf that either one of you will separate. Absolutely not. He wanted to go home cuz him was mad. She's crying like she's feeling betrayed or wishing someone would confess and rescue her. Ain't no way.

  6. If she’s so freely admits to being at fault and literally left the cars in the middle of the street with debris everywhere, why not just stay there and call the police instead of incurring even more charges by leaving the scene of an accident? Some people are so weird…
    “…W, H, Y, Z…” …Christ.
