Correction: the head of the WVSP has NOT been fired.
An anonymous whistleblower letter from someone within the West Virginia State Police was sent, revealing numerous specific allegations of misconduct, mostly by senior staff at the agency. I just obtained a copy of that letter and it’s unbelievable.

It sounds to me like every commissioned officer in the state needs to be FIRED. The real issue is that courts need to order that such people never be allowed to be in public employ again. Ending a career is not enough as they will be reemployed within a week in other jurisdiction or government job. This means that they are allowed to increase thier retirement and should never be allowed that.
