When crime scene investigators collected evidence from the home where four University of Idaho students were brutally murdered, they discovered three male DNA profiles. Bryan Kohberger faces trial for allegedly carrying out the gruesome quadruple killing. Prosecutors say Kohberger’s DNA was on a knife sheath found under one of the victims. Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy and defense attorney Jonna Spilbor discuss what the unidentified DNA could mean at trial in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

  1. They demolished the house because theyre covering up a crime. The cops are well aware that Koeberger isnt anything more than an addict that purchased drugs in the vicinity of the house. The door dasher and Farley….FARLEY. know that Koeberger didnt do it. Right? F A R L E Y.

  2. The dna doesn't seem relevant if it's not directly by the bodies of the victims. Also, I don't know why she says it's such a big deal to clean dna away. Just need soap and water and someone who's very thorough. And he was seen cleaning his car for 6 weeks. Shortly after the crime by neighbors, and later, in Pennsylvania. Plus he's known to be pretty OCD, so it's very plausible he's obsessively constantly cleaning away the crime like he can't wash it off, but in the meantime, he's getting rid of the dna.

  3. The house was demolished which is ridiculous before the trial. The prosecution must be THAT confident in the case they’re building. Both the defense and the prosecution had access to the house before it was demolished. My guess is that the prosecution is convinced they have the right guy. There is a LOT we don’t know, because of the gag order which should be respected to preserve the integrity of the case. Also this is such a high profile case, that the Idaho Law Enforcement and the FBI don’t want a bunch of crackpots calling into tip lines and taking credit for a crime they did not commit. It happens a lot…

  4. The defense should call the alleged witness who says she say him walk by her in her house in the early morning hours. Why are didn't call the cops right away is a huge mystery the prosecution can't answer. I'm my opinion, the alleged murderer is a former roommate. That's why she had no reaction to seeing someone in her home.

  5. As of now, I'm unsure if I could convict him beyond a reasonable doubt based solely on a small speck of touch DNA and the limited timeframe of 8-9 minutes to harm four people. If he was involved, I strongly believe he wasn't acting alone. This case is perplexing; I still can't comprehend why the surviving roommate didn't investigate when she heard crying and saw a masked man leaving the house. Additionally, it's puzzling why he would leave behind a witness. The prevailing theory suggests he targeted the two girls but encountered the other girl and her boyfriend on the way out, inadvertently involving them. However, the fact that the other roommate opened her door several times and he allegedly bypassed her doesn't add up.

  6. I hear alot of "Reasonable Doubt" in these comments. I'm not sold on that being Jay Z's best work, the Blueprint in my opinion was his best album. Not the "Unidentified Finger Print " which came out in 2006. Just my opinion

  7. Only ONE DNA profile came off of the BUTTON of the knife sheath UNDER MADDIE’s DECEASED BODY. Only ONE persons car was in the area that night— and was also pinging repeatedly right by their house. At all hours of the night. He needs to explain a lot away.

  8. Bryan Kohberger is being framed that sheath was placed and planted at the crime scene by someone else that sheath is too clean there is no blood on the sheath if Bryan Kohberger did it then the dog would bark alerting the 2 survivors that there is a intruder in the house

  9. If your logic was used in saying that it being a party house, it would have DNA all over belonging to all sorts of people. Then don't you think that more than 3 different types of DNA would have been found again by your logic? They should have found a bunch of different DNA at the crime scene

  10. Kohberger said when being arrested, "Am I the only one?" Was that his training/education stepping in? There was a semi-witness in the house who heard someone say there was a guy in the house as well as seeing him herself. Several men would have made way more noise and taken care of everyone in the house…just my opinion.

  11. I have never seen cops and the chief of police of a city, packing up and loading up personal property at a crime scene, and also why lead the rookie cop, be the lead investigator. Everything about this case stinks….
