Bryan Kohberger Fights to Move Idaho Student Murders Trial – Everything Law and Order Blog

Bryan Kohberger’s lawyers have filed a brief with the court detailing why they believe his trial should be moved out of Latah County, Idaho for the murders of four University of Idaho students. Kohberger’s team hired a consultant to conduct a survey of residents in Latah County to see how they viewed Kohberger and the case. Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy details Kohberger’s reasons for wanting the trial moved in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

  1. Move the case, where ?
Mars? 🤔This case has had so much worldwide publicity.
There is no way you’ll find a person who have not heard about this case unless they been living under a rock!

  2. With all due respect, this was a poorly handled news report. You're leaving people with the impression that this attorney is saying that it "is" weird. He'd not saying that it's weird. He's basically saying that it all it takes is one juror who refuses to see the factually-based logical argument or basis for the State's case – he or she digs their heels in on an unsubstantiated assertion that "it's just weird" – and it could throw the trial. Which, I'm guessing, is partly what the Defense team is hoping to more easily accomplish with a change of venue to Boise. A juror wouldn't get away with that BS in Latah County.

  3. unless every jury member selected lives off the grid and under a rock with no newspapers/media even remotely nearby- he will NEVER get a fair trial

  4. June 2025?

Wow, they are really building the hype for this one, aren't they?

It'll definitely be the ratings hit of the summer.

Joking aside, this thing needs to be tried already…why is it taking so long?

  5. No matter where or if the defense gets a new trial location he will be found guilty, cause he is! Even us in New Hampshire know he is guilty! Move it to Timbuktu and he is still guilty!

  6. At this point they need to see if any Amish folks live near bc everyone with social media has seen all of this 😅 it’s so rare to find someone who hasn’t seen this story

  7. I doesn't surprise me that he's stringing the court along. What surprises me is that the court is letting him.
