The defense team representing accused student killer Bryan Kohberger is urging Judge John Judge to unseal documents related to their motions to dismiss the grand jury indictment against the defendant. This comes many months after both prosecutors and the defense petitioned for a gag order in the case. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down why Kohberger’s defense may want these documents released to the public.

  1. EXPLAIN THE SMOKING GUN…KOHBERGER HAD 1 OF THE IDS THAT BELONGED TO ONE OF THE DEAD IDAHO STUDENTS IN A LATEX GLOVE IN A BOX WHEN ARRESTED IN Pa AT HIS PARENTS HOME…SO THAT ID TRAVELED ALL THE WAY FROM IDAHO TO PA

  2. Bryan is highly educated on this field .. we are all aware of that .. let’s stop making excuses for this murder .. another oj Simpson trail

  3. What you should be questioning is the room mates! 1)The 8 hr delay which is probably close to 10 hr delay like the cornor first said. 2) Tampering with evidence as calling friends over before the police. 3) Changing stories. 4) The 911 call was for an unconscious person, but as gory as it was you didn't see blood?! 5) The dog, you've had to hear that dog barking ( that long without going to the bathroom?)
    6) The glove and shoe print found by Dylan's window but no DNA test?! 7) The fact Dylan's family was stating how traumatized Dylan is not leaving the house barelyleaves her room, meanwhile she's out partying. 8) Tearing down the house before trial?! There's something that's being hidden….say whatever you want!

  4. Personally, I'm completely onboard with equal access amongst Attorneys on both sides and equal ability to "leak" or allow public access to the same info. I'm not into this "Withholding" stuff that comes up in many cases.
I'm far from a lawyer. So, my mind relies on what I believe about our system. This in no way has to do with how I feel about Bryan (which is the same as most), it just has to do with me feeling secure about our court system.

  5. What about the 5th victim in one of the news reports, a 5th victim went to the hospital? I’m thinking it was a miss communication but what if it wasn’t and the other evidence is the 5th victim. 🥴
But also what if he’s staying so calm because there is lack of evidence and he is actually innocent? There was other ‘male’ dna found present at the scene. It also possible hes being famed

  6. Now imagine the number of innocent people ( who don’t have publicity) who are behind bars due to corrupt law enforcement including police and lawyers

  7. Theres a reason for the defense to do this that We dont know about yet but I have never believed hes innocent and still dont .He fits exactly the kind of person that would do a crime like this and the fact that they even found this man proved to me they didnt just pull a rabbit out of a hat to charge someone unless they had very good evidence because they could have charged some poor sap with a huge criminal record r a long sheet of violence against women ,this man is as guilty as the horrible sin he conmitted and I hooe the prosecutor and the jury doesnt blow this case but U never know how messed up a jury will be after a jury letting Casey Anthont ofg ,who knows what could happen. The defense is up to something sneaky r his attorney is trying to become the nect Jose Baaz ,famous for getting a killer off .

  8. The amount of people “rooting” for BK is just insane. I believe them wanting it to be unsealed is just an other tactic of theirs to make people think …. Look he doesn’t want anything hidden so he can’t be hiding anything! 🙄 when in reality it’s right in front of our faces. Again the amount of people that think he’s innocent is actually terrifying and makes me feel like they will let this lunatic out free to harm even more people . He’ll just get even better at hiding his tracks than he already is. Y’all are crazy.

  9. Yeah..
If you find yourself as a defendant with a case in front of a grand jury..??
You're pretty much screwed, from that particular stand point.

  10. The fact that you have to do it in the public to keep things in the court, “on the up and up” speaks volumes on the corruption throughout our judicial system. It is sickening the extent that some DA/prosecutors will go to win their case, even if it means putting innocent people in jail or giving people jail time that would be better off in treatment program

  11. I’m rooting for this guy because I smell foul play here from the state. Idaho had different laws regarding federal cases and even state refusal options for preventing out of state extradition for criminal prosecution. A nice way to avoid crooked courts to some degree and away from the reach of the bulk of corruption in the system
