  1. Rewatching this makes me have flash backs. Ryan is a childhood friend of my brother, so having to see this reminds me of that time. His mom was an amazing lady and I was blessed to have met her. Ryan to this day, is an amazing DJ, doing what he does best for his mom.

  2. Your mumma raised you right. You got justice for her. Shame on the 911 Dispatcher telling the victim to go back in. ARE YOU INSANE! That goes against protocol and risks the life of the victim. May the husband rot in hell.

  3. I would die protecting my mother, but I’m also not trained to de-arm two intruders either. They would have killed him too….no shame in seeking the police, plus he was in shock most likely.

  4. man he is a coward how do you let your mother get killed while staying in the closet dude I'm sorry you left your mother no questioning left you are a coward and a lie they kill her and not you it doesn't add up 🖕

  5. man frozen from fear your mom is being attacked and you won't move man I'm going to war he a coward call it what you want he is a str8 up punk i don't wanna check on the woman who gave me life and takes care of me man shut up lying Ryan

  6. John 15:12-13. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.” "Circumstance does not make the man, it reveals him to himself." James Allen.

  7. This whole situation bothers me. The dispatce and police bother me just as much as the husband. Why is it – it takes the boys and almost 10 years for the police to do a somewhat better job. The first thing I thought when the kid said he bit the guy is wouldn't they test the tape for DNA. Sometimes it feels like if they can't blame the first person they see they just go, oh well, we did everything we could and we can't find the killer.

  8. in other situations they tell you to save yourself first before you can help someone else. that’s what he did. police and 911 operator are way too biased and judgmental

  9. I'm sorry but I understand the cops when they first doubted the brothers…their reactions specifically Ryan's, was so inexplicable, specially as we have so many stories of little kids putting themselves in danger to save their mom… you're all in an attack mode because you know now that they're both innocent, but can't blame the cops suspicions at first, totally understandable.

  10. Everybody responds to times of high stress in different ways. I understand police need to use certain standard expectations of behaviors, responses from people somehow involved in criminal investigations, but seems it's not uncommon to zero in on someone based on fact they responded, acted different than expected.

  11. The way they treated the two sons was horrifying – the 911 operator, the detectives telling him to "take it easy," the way they made him pose with bags on his hands like a mug shot – awful!

  12. Uuum I think Ryan did the right thing by running out of the house. I don’t understand why everyone is making a big deal about him getting out of the house. As a mom I would want my child to run out of the house to safety.

  13. I hope her son doesn’t ever blame himself like these reporters and the 911 operator wanted him to. He heard the stabbing happen, nothing he did would have saved her life. It just would have turned into a double murder. That would have never been solved thanks to his mention of the shoe laces.

  14. The fact that so many people questioned this boy for not “saving” his mother after being tied up and beaten, is beyond me. This would have turned into a crime scene of 2 dead, with no answers if he had done that. My mind is blown.
