  1. As a former Police officer , and now retired Firefighter I tell you that this is what they do. I'm not a particularly emotional man, however I confess that I cry when I when I WATCH videos like THESE.

  2. The amount of people who underestimate water is crazy to me. I have a raft that I call the 'Dead man raft' because on my way back from rafting some dude was drunk and hit his head and the supposed volunteer firefighter couldn't dive 5 feet to grab the guy so I had to and I had to use my raft to move him away from rocks. He died a week later July 24th

  3. Its the ems discretion if you are allowed to ride along, being family doesn't grant you permission. The last thing they need is drama and someone interfering with the care they're trying to provide.
Also, its a boat, meaning quicker and more agile with less weight.

  4. The one rescue of the baby in the overturned red car in the water; you can hear one of the first responders replying to the mother’s voice. Thing is, she had already passed prior to them arriving. Freaky but documented.

  5. Pushing the kid off the boat when his sister is the one who is a medical emergency was totally uncalled for! How unprofessional and rude! He can give them any info about her that they would need he is an asset to her survival and they just disregarded him and the information he was traying to provide.
