On the first day of trial, a shocking 911 call was heard by the jury where alleged murderer, Blake Scanlon, admitted that he stabbed his girlfriend to death after he believed she was cheating on him, despite them allegedly being broken up at the time. 23 year old Blake Scanlon faces trial for allegedly murdering his 20-year-old girlfriend, Alexis Avery, at their Massachusetts home in 2019. Scanlon called authorities shortly after the incident, claiming he was injured after he “killed his girlfriend.” When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Avery brutally stabbed to death. Scanlon is being charged with first-degree murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

  1. It’s sick to me that they even have to go to trial .. he admitted to killing her on the phone and has the nerve to sit there and put that family through a not guilty plea .. taking more from them than he already has . Smh

  2. "Made" her go home with him? Did he have a gun to her head? She CHOSE to go home with him, guess the alcohol made her not so afraid as she was at the Leaf? Oh yeah can't you turn location off on the phone? If they broke up why track eachothers movements? If she was afraid as Scott says, couldn't she shut it off? I don't know a 10 year old that is not tech savvy and knows how to work their phone inside and out. Never mind a twenty year old…

  3. In westfield Bar owners are fined for being occupied by anyone after 2 a.m. but nothing when they serve an underage girl that ends up murdered?

  4. Why weren't the bars held accountable for serving a 20 year old underage individual, where she got intoxicated where her ability to make decisions was greatly affected? It appears by testimony both Burns and Alexis were over served alcohol.. Both the Maple Leaf and The Whip have been sold since Jan 13, 2019. I wonder why they changed hands since 2019???

  5. Very weak opening statement. Almost not worth bothering with and a bit of an insult to the jury's intelligence. But I guess a woman's gotta bring home some bacon 🤷🏽‍♀️.

  6. She should have not have moved on that quickly. Call victim blaming but one person's dead and one person's life over. That's not an amicable healthy breakulp.

  7. Like wtf is with sheltering crap now days.. how are our young ppl going to recognise what is what…. i don't understand really law & crime & other social media what are we protecting & for me what is public forum if it cannot be recognise in its full forum imo

  8. Jessica, Alexis’s Mom, testifying seemed really hard for her, the pain doesn’t subside & it probably brought everything to the surface. Hope her family could find some peace, I really always feel for any children in these cases & with this case poor little Darla won’t ever know her mother, probably just a few videos & pictures. Blake took that all away from his child & she will have to deal with her father killing her Mom. He could have been a decent person & went on with his life, be a father, etc, but his decision is to kill her. This is definitely 1st degree & Im glad the case was short to not waste more tax payer’s money on him.

  9. Why can’t the viewers see crime scene photos? Will they be released? It’s hard to listen and piece things together when we are not seeing images or texts

  10. Hey Law & Crime, fix the name of this video. She wasn't "caught cheating". He killed her for breaking up with him & then moving on. Your vid name is victim-blaming.

  11. Any woman who has been in a domestic violence relationship knows they are very scary because the person loses a sense of who they are due to fear. This monster deserves to be in jail for the rest of his life. 28 times- he’s a demon!!!!!!!!!
