Intense closing arguments took place on Wednesday morning where both state and defense gave their reasons as to why they believe accused killer Nicolae Miu is guilty or not guilty. The jury is still deliberating a verdict. Miu is accused of stabbing a teenager to death, and injuring four others, while tubing on the Apple River in Wisconsin back in July of 2022. Isaac Schuman, 17, was killed and Rhyley Mattison, 24, suffered severe stab wounds. Miu is facing multiple charges including first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree homicide, and battery with a dangerous weapon. Miu claims he acted in self-defense.

If Miu gets less than 30 years, justice will not have been served. He proved himself to have had murderous intent and willingness to act on murderous impulses when retaliating for being pushed down, called mean names and laughed at. Not exactly a civilized adult's reaction: to attempt murder when he could have walked away at a point before all his little tin soldier friends and church lady Karen supporters say he was so helpless.

its not okay that the boys felt less fear when the girls came over (power in numbers) but it is okay that Miu felt less fear once he reached his groyp of 11 (power in numbers)
defense harping on madison having no marks on her face clearly didn't see that his guy who murdered because he was so scared had no marks on his face
Can't believe how poor the prosecution's closing argument was. Clearly saying things that no one believes… saying it was 2 on 2, my goodness.
They all sit there and act like complet victims with zero accountability. Their actions got everyone stabbed. The wrong man is on trial.

Anyone who says the 17 year old group was in the wrong is absolutely insane. They never even attacked the man. They called him names. You’re a man who can’t take a couple chirps from kids?
Also majority of the people who got stabbed and testified were not kids.
They were from another group of 20-30 year olds. because every one at the lake knew there was a psycho harassing kids.

It's real simple. A bunch of people surrounded and attacked Miu. Mui had every right to defend himself to the best of his ability. The fact they found him guilty is beyond belief. Let's see any one of the jury deal with the situation he was in and see what they think then.

I would NOT have found him Guilty. Not Guilty. Imagine any people of any age taunting, choking and threatening you in a mob like setting.

People. This is not hard. Teens should not drink and berate an adult. Adults also should not stab teens because they are bullying them. Both statements are true. Mui could and should walk away.
