College Student Killed During Shootout While Bartending at Georgia Bar

1. There’s nothing else for 20-40 year olds to do in Valdosta unless you go to church. Seems the city profits off of all the DUI’s. Maybe it’s corruption worth investigating if these bars really should’ve been shut down prior to this happening considering all the DUI’s and crime happening around them. About 8-9 years ago I was at a bar down the street from this and gunshots erupted outside and everyone had to leave the bar. Now I feel lucky to be alive. It would be better for the young people here if they did shut them down and the city would try to bring in places that are actually healthy and safe for 20-40 year olds to go, not bars. The people in charge seem like they don’t care to change anything in Valdosta & Remerton because they make money off of the way that it is currently.
