A former classmate appeared to be helping Lea Porter out with a place to stay. When she went missing, Lea’s big brother Maxx went on his own mission to find out what happened to her — which included confronting the last man to see her alive. From 2016: https://bit.ly/34Fjv9B

that 911 call from her mother gutted me.
I guess they didnt find any evidence in her vehicle, anyways I get the feeling more people are involved
Any thoughts on the politicians defunding the police?
May she rip. She had a amazing brother he got the confession ❤️
Why would you die just to find a body? That's the last thing she'd want. And personally I don't understand the infatuation we have w the dead. Idc what happens to me when I'm dead. Throw me to the crows and let nature run its corse on me for all I care. I'm dead… idc what happens to this body when I'm done w it.
Addiction doesn't care who you are. What family you belong to. How much money you've got in the bank. Yall want equity… that's true equity
This detective gave me a good chuckle with "this was A FACTOR". No, this was not a factor, it was the actual solution of this case, and who knows where this case would be without this brother. Her brother is a man, such a wholesome human being.
I see again and again that creeps like this murderer were long known to many people as up-and-comers of abuse and crime. We as a society lack an effective mechanism to prevent these people from committing a crime and can only deal with the heartbreaking aftermath of what was clearly coming. I wish we can find a way to help these people or isolate them from the rest of our society BEFORE they commit their crimes.
brother love his sister so much
The mother’s scream during that 911 call gave me chills. This is just a tragic case all around.
I miss her terribly she was so awesome made highschool so much better
Dearest Mike, it isn't about what u cover But the way you cover it.. thx for all ur work on these cases that u bring attention to.
ok if I caught the guy who killed my sister I'd have a charge I'd have a murder charge. respect to the fool for keeping his anger.
What an incredible and strong brother Lea had. Bless his heart.
It's ashame when Law Enforcement can say that they wouldn't go about solving a case a certain type of way butbthey take too long ro do anything! GOD bless this young lady's family, especially her brother. He is a true hero, risking his own safety and life for justice. I hope they can bring his sister home. 🙏🏾🕊💛🕊🙏🏾
Maxx is a friend of mine… he still holds out hope of finding her. Lea touched a lot of lives in this small town.
You would think the blood found in his place would be enough evidence to put him away. 😡
I’m super confused .. I just heard this story on a podcast with her ex BF, her Brother.. and them confronting Chris wade on a recorded phone with the cops waiting .. he admits he put her in a dumpster with clothes on.. so clearly it wasn’t a DREAM.. that led them to the landfill.. no mention of how this was set up with the BF.. ok.. this is funky .. so much missing from what I heard earlier .. maybe the BF WHO WAS WITH MAX.. didn’t agree to do this .. who knows .. the story I heard had the entire recording
All the prayers and love to max, such a brave fella
Good friend for letting him get good hits in before holding the brother back
Proof that drugs can destroy lives directly and/or indirectly.
How the hell did he not kill him after hearing all that??
Wade look like a squirrel
