  1. And why would he lie about stabbing first and then suffocating? Police said they were stabbed after dying. That's a weird thing to lie about but I'm sure there's a pathetic manipulative reason to say otherwise. Why has this got less media than Chris Watts? I guess because we connected with his family more because all of her Facebook videos?

  2. Todt is just like Chris Watts. I think they both knew they were undeniably going to prison and they KNEW how rough their life would be if they were known as sickos who killed little kids. The other inmates would make their lives hell. But if they could go to prison as the person who killed the person who killed the kids, why they're pretty much heroes. If people believe all they did was kill the mean old person who was killing her own children, think of all the street cred they would have in prison. Far from being reviled, they would be respected. So of course both Watts and Todt came up with the cockamamie story that the WIFE is the truly bad guy. I would be more surprised if they did NOT come up with a story like this. Doesn't make their stories believable, but it certainly explains why they invented those stories.

  3. Just came across this podcast and it’s good. What gets me is the smell, I’ve been a medic for a long time and cans stand the smell from one decomposing body but 4 and a dog nauseated me.
    This is beyond sick
Benadryl can’t kill you but you’ll hallucinate and can cause amnesia and a pie the heat from an oven will alter Benadryl and it won’t work and would be unpalatable

  4. Please do an update post-trial. Literally no one is telling the story from Megan’s point of view. She gets blamed by all who cover this story – even the prosecutor throws her under the bus!

  5. So I don’t know if you all know this, but taking too much Benadryl can cause hallucinative effects. I don’t know how much information there is regarding this, but I know from experience. I accidentally took too much because I couldn’t sleep and it resulted in me being hospitalized for psychosis..

  6. He had such a beautiful looking family. Why! What processes a man to do such a heinous crime and then blame it on his wife?
If you have such a urge,go get help!
If you don't want to get help, then too your self!
This really sickens me. That poor woman and her beautiful children.
    R.I.P.

  7. He knew he was going to prison for fraud. He probably figured his wife would divorce him, like his mother divorced his father. Then she remarried, and his father's family belonged to another man. He also knew that his own wife and children would be ashamed of him. He didn't want to live with the shame and the thought of another man taking over his family,, including the family dog.

  8. No one in their right mind can live and sleep w dead bodies for two weeks.
The pressures he was under were impossible but also self induced…
I'd love to see who's signature is on all of their loans, his or his wives. He keeps blaming her for their financial mess, let's see some proof of her even knowing about their financial difficulties.

  9. Like father like son…. Both LOVE the sound of their own voices and adore making themselves such admirable characters in their long winded stories.
If there is any doubt in someone's mind as to his innocence or guilt watch the video about his letter from prison to his dad… The entire letter is a immature person trying to impress his father…. Not about his family hardly at all…

  10. I live in Montana, and we had a similar case years ago in Mineral County. A husband said his wife died after falling off a horse. He stood to inherit an insurance payout from her accidental death. Investigation revealed that the rock she hit her head on when she fell off the horse was the Only Rock in the pasture. It appeared it had been put there by someone in advance. Autopsy required by the insurer revealed she had horse tranquilizer in her blood at the time of her death. He was convicted of murder and attempted insurance fraud. Far as I know, he's still rotting at the prison in Deer Lodge.

  11. Todt talks about his vow to obey his wife. Wedding vows from the old days included "…love, honor, and obey…" for the wife, not for the husband. Of course, people can write any vows they want these days. Assuming he did vow to obey his wife, "obey" does not mean you have to break the law and commit or cover-up crimes. I give him props for creativity, but as a wedding officiant and marriage & family counselor, I find Todt's assertion that this vow forced him/compelled him to do these crimes inauthentic. They prove conciousness of guilt in my book and amount to an admission of that guilt.

  12. he also said that his wife tried several attempts to kill the children before this… He just said so many bad things against his wife with no proof. If it were true Why would you leave your children alone with their mom who tried to kill them before. He just thows everything out there and to see what will stick and what version of his stories people will believe.

  13. He fell asleep in his truck outside the condo because he was tired and wanted to take a nap before going back in. That is how he said he found out… Came out in trial…

  14. He is pulling a Chris Watts now, blaming the wife. He was a Chiropractor. The community of Celebration was built by Disney, they even had recorded birds singing. Disney later sold the Community. Reminds me of The Stepford Wives Community. Full on Creepy

  15. Such a weird thing has happened where these men kill the whole family. Can there be this many monsters out there pretending to be dads and husbands??
Just run away start a new life.

  16. Why do these guys pretend to hav it all… to hav it all!! Wots missing is a decent human being who can own up to who they are.. inadequate boy!!

  17. IF THINGS WERE SO BAD FINANCIALLY THEN WHY DIDN'T HE JUST PACK UP AND LEAVE ON HIS OWN..ABANDON YOUR FAMILY NOT KILL THEM..YES IT'S HORRIBLE TO ABANDON THEM BUT I RATHER HAVE HIM LEAVE THAN MURDER THEM..AND WHY DID HE INCLUDE THE POOR DOG IN THE MURDER..JUST GIVE THE DOG AWAY TO SOMEONE
