As a Home Depot employee never be afraid to ask us for help if you are afraid or uncomfortable we will escort you to your vehicle. An employee had a problem with a stalker at our store and I would walk her to her car everyday just to make sure she was safe

The sad thing is that these types of comments from strange men about minor girls are SO common! I heard them growing up (got icky gut feelings), and witness countless incidents where complete strangers, friends, acquaintances and even family members think it's totally fine to say things like "wow, she's going to be a heartbreaker when she grows up!" or "dad, better shine that gun, boys will line up at your door", "she's as attractive as her mom, wow!"
Sexualizing children is SO common, even the parents do it to their own kids… 😢😢

I also just noticed that, when he was parked in front of the store waiting for the mother and the girl to come out, his car door was opened slightly, then, possibly when he saw the Home Depot employee with them, the door closes. That’s pretty telling. I have to wonder if he might have approached them when they were walking out of the store if he hadn’t seen the employee with them. That would have been extremely bold of him to do in front if the entrance. I’m also interested in the psychology of these individuals as, I’ve heard, they are one of the very few, if not the only, types of offenders that do not rehabilitate, ever, no matter how often they’re put in jail and have gone through some kind of rehabilitation program. What makes that particular kind of mentality or psychopathy so resistant to change?
