This week on True Crime Daily The Podcast: An off-duty police officer in Alabama calls cops to report an apparent suicide in his apartment parking lot. Investigators soon discover the victim is the cop’s pregnant girlfriend visiting from out of town (2:28). Was it an argument — or an ambush?
And a California woman is stalked and killed while driving for a food-delivery service, allegedly by an ex-boyfriend with a criminal past who may have previously threatened her (23:58). Police say the suspect and his mother led police on a wild pursuit in the victim’s car, with the dead woman still in the vehicle.

  1. The 1st case is very similar to the August 30, 2011 case in Michigan of Jennifer Webb. She was 8 months pregnant with then-Buena Vista officer Ken Bleuw's baby, a baby boy who would've been Jennifer's 1st child. Bluew, who was already married, which Jennifer hadn't known that until after she got pregnant and Bleuw had REPEATEDLY pushed for Jennifer to "get rid of" the baby and grown "desperate" with her adamant refusal. So he set-up a late night meeting, on a dark & desolate road – a spot where Bleuw was KNOWN to have gone to take naps during his shifts & where he'd met with Jennifer while he was on duty before – and he again pleaded for her to make it go away, but she didn't acquiesce and a physical altercation ensued. As he was attacking her and trying to get his hands/arms around her neck, while wearing his police gloves, Jennifer bit his finger which – unbeknownst to Bleuw – broke the tip of his glove off IN her mouth and drew his blood! This further ENRAGED Bleuw who, again, got his arms around Jennifer's neck, held her in chokehold, and he STRANGLED her to death! He then quickly proceeded to stage the scene to make it look like she hung herself with an extension cord and left Jennifer's body – and HIS STILL ALIVE unborn baby boy – alone to be discovered later, hoping it'd be too late to save him! Bluew was too preoccupied to notice or respond to radio calls, as he was killing Jennifer and staging the scene, so his friend and coworker went to Bluew's "sleep spot" to check on him and he found Bleuw's patrol light pointed at Jennifer's car, then Bleuw appeared from behind her car and acted like he'd just discovered the scene and that's why he hadn't responded to anyone. And during the initial "investigation", while going through Jennifer's purse to get her ID, he was caught on camera tampering with evidence in her purse, while NOT wearing gloves, and claiming he "found" a typed "goodbye note" – which he himself had typed up BEFORE meeting her that night, further proving his premeditation – and he continued his charade of investigating the "self-cancellation", but it didn't take long before ALL the red flags started popping up. Bleuw was arrested 2 weeks after she'd been discovered and he was found guilty of ALL charges, including 1st degree premeditated murder, which earned him a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

  2. Ladies Anthony was not trying to kill himself! He was trying to defend himself with an insane verdict? Sometimes you guys just get me you really truly do!

  3. I do not get this! Why would that woman call her new boyfriend to see what to do instead of the police! I would have dialed 911.. REALLY WHAT WAS SHE THINKING!!! Was she trying to get attention? This does not make sense to me how dumb do some people get? Also about the other case, when somebody tells you they do not want a baby don't you usually get on birth control before things like this happen? I have watched numerous television and detective shows about this! So many women are killed because the men do not want babies! Everything is so backwards lately I don't get it you get married first then you talk about having children don't you? Not now not now it's totally backwards.

  4. No you don't give anybody like that the benefit of the doubt!!! If your parents do not like them get rid of them! People on the outside can see more than you can from the inside! Good place to be a cop apparently you don't have to pass any test to see if you'd be any good in the state of Alabama!!!

  5. Congratulations Judy on your new little boy. What a great blessing. 🌺🌸🌷🌼🌹🌻🥀🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🍼🍼🍼🍼👼👼👼👶👶👶

  6. I think he lured her to come just to kill her: giving her gas and hotel money. He tried to avoid paying child support!!! What a monster!!!

  7. Please never call no one besides the police when your life is in danger. Me and my daughter are alive because of that exact way of thinking call emergency, only emergency

  8. I can never understand why women always think that getting pregnant will keep a man next to themselves. From what I understand he didn't want any children with her, he told her he will kill himself because of her pregnancy. She already has 2 kids from some other guy who left her. If she was so happy to have this new child, while knowing the guy absolutelt doesn't want it , why to force this on that guy. Women never think about mens feeling towards their unplanned pregnancy. She made a choice to get pregnant, however she didn't give a choice to a guy. I'm not defending him. He commited the crime and took 2 lives. However the pregnant victim kind of brought it up on herself.

  9. I think the person who dropped the kid off at the police department was trying to teach the kid a life lesson – and u guys mocked her seriously u just finished saying the mother in the story before didn’t teach her kid right and encouraged crime

So which is it do teach right from wrong or for little indiscretion don’t bother and wait for huge issues . I don’t think the full story was available and u guys mocked her mmm

  10. Love your episodes in here Ana but why do you leave that door open behind you all the time? I keep looking at it no matter how much I wanna concentrate into the stories you’re presenting.

  11. Social media was instrumental in Christina's demise. PUT nothing personal on social media OR keep limitations on who can see. This was obscene that this girl was murdered because of an obsession by a cowardly JACKASS ‼️‼️😡😡😡

  12. He calls himself a police officer ?? He does not have the brains of even a hajaam , bloody idiot . The joker must have used his service revolver to murder his girlfriend and then hidden the gun but he did not think of this : how can you commit suicide and then do away with the weapon ???

  13. LOVE your sweater, Ana!! You look amazing, as always. Sorry- I know this is a serious case, but that sweater though- chef’s kiss 💜⚡️
    Please remain awesome

  14. Let's pray that policemen aren't as bad to solve crime as this one was to do hide his crimes and evidence.
    I'm absolutely speechless!

  15. When are going to address the issue these women voluntarily chose these lunatics. How many good men did these women step over to get with the bad boys

  16. This cop story reminds me of the one with the pop who killed and staged his girlfriends suicide. Strangeled her, hang her body on her car and typed out a suicide note which her family said "nah, she'd have hand written it.." Turns out this guy had even googled chockholds etc. during that day. He was married…

  17. Life lessons some do not learn in order to make better choices in the next chapter of their life. They repeat it instead and adds to it. Why generation after generation is getting worse in ways of inflicting pain to the mind body and
    spirit.

  18. What a dumb cop. Besides, the phone record will tie them together. He shoots her in the parking lot of his apt bldg? He is a lazy murderer. It's like doing it in the apt but avoided the clean up part.

It's a parade of red flags. Slam dunk. Guilty.

Fornicators and adulterers have brain dead sex. Think it through. Use your head. Will they ever. The solution is not murder DIVORCE is. Just walk away.

Suggest meeting at the police station. If they turn this down; red flag. If a car is following you drive to the nearest police station or fire station.

Maybe there should be meeting place restaurants (NO ALCOHOL) outside of every police station which will have lots of CCTV.

If the person do not want to meet you there. Red Flag. Go no further. If you do, you may be with a cheater or psychopath.

If you do care about your family you would not place them in harms way. Falling dominos goes on and on. The domino affect of pain is forever.

Wave a flag out of the car window that says HELP 911. Prepare HELP 911 notes : Your name, phone #, license plate # of perp, bf, husband. your car and
the description of vehicles. Hide one in the trunk of household cars. In the spare tire.

Give to your children and family members. Children can put it in their pocket and drop it anywhere when kidnapped.

Wear a tee shirt under your garment. In the back of T Shirt print: HELP 911. You will know when to expose this.

Every car should have a red flag. When you see a red flag call 911.

Maybe an automatic pop up red flag to get your car jackers on the radar. Top of your car red flag or flags popping up like police lights.

  19. This is older but i must say i live in a town close to Milpitas and our public works/police have a convoluted parking lot also. Luckily i wasn't in fear for my life when i had to visit. Also as i think back, the distance from the parking lot to the actual police station was far, with the door facing away from the lot.
