  1. This evil crime sounds like a revenge killing ro me! I think he murdered his stepson because he was angry that his wife was planning to divorce him! He deserves the death penalty, asap! imo!😨😰

  2. the Menendez Brothers didn't murder for $$$$$$, as you quoted there. they were sexually, physically, emotionally, and violently abused for many years by both parents, all of the evidence is clearly online regarding the abuse, and they murdered the parents to end the abuse & terror. their parents are in hell where they belong. i also don't agree that they should be in prison for what they did.
Did both parents abuse the Menendez brothers?
The Abuse of Erik and Lyle Menendez was carried out by their parents, Jose and Kitty. The abuse had many negative effects on the boys, most importantly it made them hyper-vigilant and fearful and anxious nearly all the time.
What abuse did the Menendez brothers suffer?
Lyle claimed he had been molested between the ages of 6 and 8, while Erik was abused from the age of 6 until he was 18. The Hollywood son explained his father had raped him once and forced him to perform oral sex often. Inappropriate nude photos of Lyle during childhood were also uncovered.
What did the Menendez brothers mom do to them?
During the murder trial, Lyle testified that he told his mother about the abuse, and that, until he was 13, she sexually abused him also by inviting him into her bed and washing his body “everywhere.” He now says that it wasn't him who told his mother that he was being raped or abused — but an adult cousin did.
What did Lyle do to Erik with a toothbrush?
    Lyle molested Erik
Lyle admitted he molested his brother during the trial. “I took him out to the woods … and I took a tooth brush also and I played with Erik in the same way,” he said. “And I'm sorry.” When the camera panned to Erik, you could see him break down in the courtroom.
Why were the Menendez brothers afraid of their parents?
The younger brother said his father angrily vowed to keep Lyle from exposing a dark family secret – that Jose Menendez had been molesting Erik since childhood. The brothers have claimed a motive of imperfect self-defense, meaning that they had a genuine but misguided fear that their parents Jose and Kitty were going to kill them.
What did Kitty do to the Menendez brothers?
Kitty Menendez, her son said, was often violent and would beat him, kick him, and drag him to his room by his hair.
In the first trial, there was testimony from family members, friends, teachers, coaches, etc who witnessed Jose and Kitty Menendez mistreating their sons. There were also medical reports from the childhood years of the brothers. These reports documented psychosomatic symptoms such as headaches and stomach pains for which no medical or physical reason could be found. Lyle wet the bed until he was 14 years old (a classic sign of sexual abuse) and a medical report from when Erik was six years old showed that he suffered an injury to the back of his throat that is consistent with sexual abuse. There were also psychiatric experts who examined them and testified.
In the second trial, most of these witnesses were blocked from testifying until the penalty phase, so the jurors never learned anything about it or the family dynamics until after the brothers had been convicted. No matter how you look at it, that is unethical. There was also an agenda in convicting them and jailing them for life. The OJ Simpson acquittal had caused the DA’s Office a lot of embarrassment and they were determined not to let it happen again. Gil Garcetti, who was the lead district attorney, was running for re-election and hoped that convicting the Menendez brothers would get him more votes. The late David Conn, who was the lead prosecutor in the second trial, wanted a promotion, and again, convicting the brothers seemed to him the way of ensuring that.
David Conn also admitted on Larry King Live a few years before his passing that he was aware that there had been other sexual abuse allegations against Jose Menendez; Les Zoeller, who was the lead detective on the case, stated the same when he was investigating the case (before the brothers were even arrested). During those trials, there wasn’t much knowledge about sexual abuse, especially sexual abuse of males. There was a lot of homophobia and re-victimization when the brothers (particularly Erik, who admitted to being confused about his sexuality) testified. Today, the prosecution would NOT get away with that.
This case is far more complex than the media has presented.
    Who kept the Menendez fortune?
So, who has the Menendez brothers' fortune? The money is not with any particular person due to the numerous entanglement affairs during the Menendez brothers' trial and incarceration. Menendez brothers' inheritance of around $14.5 million and insurance payouts were not eligible for use after their conviction. Systemic Government corruption hungry for the $$$$$$. if two boys can't live life free from terror & abuse, the Government surely gets ahold of all of the $$$$$$. it's all about the $$$$$$ and no one cares about the children being sexually terrorized.

  3. Big case during the time of it going on lived in cottage Grove at the time of the disappearance and when they arrested the son police worked the case fast he did a bad job at trying to hide things got caught fast

  4. DAH-SHAWN
learn how to pronounce black names.
Having Warren brown defend him is HILARIOUS. He may as well be defending himself. Everyone in Baltimore knows that W.B. don't care about his clients and that he has a reputation for taking the money and feeding his clients to the state

  5. Im disgusted with this case with Baltimore Cop . Another case like the Foster child that was 15 yr old when the Foster Father killed the 15 yr old in Alabama he hit him in the head real in the kitchen he died, he was buried underneath the porch wrapped up in a Disney blanket, with junks of bricks and rocks. Im so disgusted . That case was in 1985, till 1995.

  7. When my father passed I was ten, and my sister was 16. I remember only one guy mom dated until I became an adult. My mom owns our house, he has his own apartment. My sister and I really looked up to him. When I was 16 I asked my mom “why don’t you marry him?” We knew she loves him. She said she didn’t want to move a man in on her girls. She said this house is mine, and yours, and your sister’s, and someday my grandkids. If I were to get married then half of my house would become his.❤ “what a woman”

  8. I hope by now everyone knows the back story on Chandler Halderson. His parents appeared to be lovely people who just wanted the best for him. Instead, he lied to them about attending school. Lied about so many things. So many lies he told! When the father finally was going to meet with the school, because nothing Chandler said was adding up, and Chandler, realizing that his web of lies was going to unravel, and he couldn't have that, murdered, dismembered and tried burning his parents in the fireplace. Just horrible! Neighbors smelling the burning and all! I felt so sorry for them. Just Thought Lounge did an excellent review of the case. May Chandler Halderson rot in whatever hell exists!

  9. 23 and still a kid? That's why white men get away with murder or are given breaks on murder. This is not rare. White men are the leading murderers in the nation.
