  1. I’m sickened they did a pit maneuver on that woman! In Arkansas there are 100s of miles of highway with no shoulder! Slowing down and complying while finding a safe place to stop or a lighted area! Once an Arkansas State Trooper tried to stop me on a pitch black road. I slowed down to about 30mph and turned on my flashers too. I drove another mile until a got to a convenience store that was lighted. He just followed me slowly, wrote me a ticket and never mentioned I drove to a lighted area until he was about to hand me my ticket. He told me to be careful driving to a safe place to pull over. Most police aren’t as patient as he is!!! We’d just had 3 women in our state brutally murdered by a man with a police light on his car.

  2. So the police are just giving out false information about how and when to stop. Saying that you can go till you are safe, but then saying you must stop instantly. What absolute monsters.

  3. That cop must be the biggest idiot in Arkansas. Both sides of the road had barriers. Where was the car going to go after the PIT maneuver? The only thing that could happen is the car would bounce off the left or right side barrier and remain on the road creating a road hazard. There was no grassy area on the right or median on the left. The cop had absolutely no common sense.

  4. Couldn't he just follow a bit further and effect a traffic stop closer to the nearest exit to avoid these scenarios? If someone puts on their hazards, slows their speed, that doesn't necessarily mean much but she made her effort to indicate the opposite of speeding up and endangering other drivers to warrant a pit maneuver. Give the driver an opportunity to pull over at the nearest exit so it's safe for all involved. If they don't use the nearest exit, then pit them or assume the driver is evading. Moreover, he isn't a trained medical professional, why would he have her exit the vehicle without EMTs making that assessment? He's a risk to the public especially with 27 years of experience. His response, "This is what we do," that's scary.

  5. It is amazing how incompetent so many State Police an other Law enforcement officers are, regardless of the Senior Administrations pathetic Cop-Splaining! It is hard to say which is worst! PROVEN BY THE SETTMENT AND THE POLICEY CHANGE!!!!

  6. you would think a senior Highway Patrol officer would know the laws in his state. In the Arkansas driving handbook, she clearly did what it said you should do. How does a senior trooper not know the laws. Bill Bryant also seems to not understand what crystal clear is and what the state says in it's handbook. How can people in charge be this stupid?
