  1. “They don’t know a damn thing about a boat” and yet this guy allowed these individuals to rent and pilot a boat. wtf?

I don’t agree with the officers use of force but this guy could have handled this a lot differently. Driving off with the boat is similar situation as driving off with a car.

  2. The houseboat had run aground, it needed inspection to ensure the hull or pontoons were intact. Imagine following the order of the LEO and tje houseboat sinking while they investigate… secure the vessels, complete the investigation. Should be simple.

  3. Hope those officers never fall overboard with how big they think that "federal" badge is on their chest. Theyll sink like its a cinder block attatched to their chest. Imagine always saying youre a federal law inforcement officer just cause you work marine at a natuonal park. 😂

  4. Scary. Seems like the chance of finding an officer on a power trip is almost certain. Police nowadays need anger treatment and councilor help from the beginning. I'm scared of America, the corrupt government and cops prove that it's a communist supporting country now.

  5. How is using a tazer not excessive when they are open water could have fallen overboard and drown. They then put him in cuffs. Seems like they are just trying to murder him.

  6. THE PROBLEM IS THAT MANY POLICE EGOTISTICALLY ASSERT THEIR AUTHORITY ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING OUR RUGHTS AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS!

  7. These guys are like this all the time in Minnesota… Every single interaction, whether on the highway or on the water, they always have to escalated.

I had a situation once where The DNR was in the wrong. He decided to pull out of a Dairy Queen. After he had gotten ice cream and pull me over. He started off the interaction by saying he was gonna take away my Driver's license and I was never gonna drive again. I don't think that's how you start off an interaction with someone if you're trying to diescalate a situation.

I sat there arguing with him for 20 minutes, which is my constitutional right. I had a calm voice but he did not. Of course, I pointed out to my daughter. That was with me.This is what Over use of power looks like. He finally said that he was letting me go with no charges. But he told me. I had to push my motorcycle home. I wasn't allowed to ride it. And then lastly, he told me that I was at fault for his ice cream melting on the dashboard of his car.

I said sir. You didn't have to pull me over for this nonsense. You could have went on your merry way, but you had to exert your authority over someone driving a small motorcycle.

Another problem with the DNR is that they go to small towns where the local police officers don't care.If kids ride many bikes on the road and they feel they need to Pull over every single kid on a mini bike. Call his parents up and threaten them. When they're not even from these towns. I've seen this happen in my town as well.

  8. They tase him, then tell him to relax. They were merely looking for excuse to flex their authority and abuse an innocent citizen. This was completely unnecessary. They wanted to pretend they're important. They're not; they're completely expendable.

  9. I feel
Like the cops could have asked him for what reason he wanted to park it. Or the business owner could have told him more.

  10. When someone screams ‘calm down’ always gets everyone upset and escalates the situation. Someone like a police officer should be trained in deescalating situations but these situations seem that they are the ones escalating things and not observing or talking to investigate situations before engaging in force.

  11. Cops are dumb they have went to safer place houseboats only do about 10 klms per hr runout tide with going same way getting swamped in open boat getting wrecked and people getting drowned that’s what I mean dumb water police if they had a brain
    They would be dangerous

  12. This is different than most of these vids. It’s even worse than trying to outrun the cops on land where at least you have a decent chance of getting away. Not that I condone that but if the idea was to get the guests back safely ASAP, why provoke a police chase you cannot escape from? You landed yourself in a jackpot and delayed your guests. Why not comply immediately, explain the situation, and be on your way? If the boat ran aground, it seems logical the officers would need to make contact and document it. Check to see if whoever was piloting it was impaired in sone way, check for any injuries, etc. it wasn’t stated why the contact was necessary but a boating accident investigation seems prudent. You would also think the business owner would need to document the grounding for insurance purposes. His attempt to flee was a bad call regardless of the demeanor of the officers. Ebel initiated the escalation with his speech and behavior. This is the only one of these I’ve watched so far where I sided with the cops.

  13. "You're making this scene unsafe" stops potentially damaged boat in the middle of a lake. *Handcuffs operator with lifevest

  14. Why do we take some of the least educated people in our population with the poorest emotional regulation skills and a taste for bullying, give them insufficient training, guns and badges and expect things to not to spiral out of control?

  15. The cop driving the boat doesn’t know how to drive the boat. He’s very uncomfortable behind the wheel. Probably why he’s so cranky
