29 thoughts on “Cops Arrest Pastor For Watering Neighbor’s Flowers”
  1. A three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Court of Appeals unanimously ruled that the three officers who arrested Michael Jennings in Childersburg, Alabama, lacked probable cause for the arrest and are therefore not shielded by qualified immunity.

  2. “This isn’t racial profiling”

Being one of the most cut and dry racial profiling cases I’ve seen. Lady who called and from the officers like it was in abundance

  3. “Ok some crazy white lazy is standing suspiciously next to me, ask for her ID (when she wouldn’t give name either I heard from the cops)

By his words he’s gotta stop and ID her for no reason bc someone called

  4. Being neighborly while Black. Wow. It's "suspicious" that a neighbor pastor is watering someone's flowers. The truth? He didn't kneel down and lick their boots. That's why they arrested him. Ego.

  5. Why is it that we have to justify our existence in society to police? They don’t care what a POC of color, he or she does, age, or status. They took the word of the yte lady but thought they could get another bonus or day off for arresting for nothing. They did not request the lady’s name or ID. No crime no ID.
That is not a name that’s a pastor?

  6. Wow. So criminals now water your flowers before breaking in or stealing your stuff. Amazing police work Barney Fife.

The resisting and obstruction laws need to be looked at and changed. They are a catch all for anything the police want to use to charge someone with a crime. Cops don’t care if they over charge or charge for something that isn’t appropriate. They aren’t held accountable and simply tell everyone “we’ll sort that out in court.” Same goes for prosecutors that overcharge or keep in appropriate charges.

  7. These cops when they start defending and justifying their actions, it’ll tell you all you need to know. This is a common when people are unsure and/or have a guilty conscience. Think about what it’s like to talk to a 5 year old that’s in trouble. PLEASE remain respectful when interacting with police, DO NOT ANSWER questions, hold your tongue and corporate. This means you may be arrested, just resign yourself to that fate. Enter any lawsuit after it’s all said and done. But just hold your ground, corporate and STFU.

  8. When the cops started gaslighting the family 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I wish people would stop thinking cooperating with police will defuse, calm, speed up, or somehow turn the cop into a good person. They're vindictive, petty, vile, and psychopathic, trigger happy maniacs who only serve and protect themselves, buildings, and properties. Its them vs us

  9. From the very beginning of the interaction, he lawfully ID'ed himself (as Pastor Jennings) and provided his lawful reason for being there. It should have ended right there with the officers wishing him a good day. That's the real way this could have been all avoided.

  10. The question I always ask myself is, would the ID tell the office if he was telling the truth 🤷🏾. Why do police always get offended when they feel they’re being lied to when they’re master of lying themselves 😂

  11. Suspicious activity watering the neighbors flowers that first cop is too dumb to be a cop hope he gets a lot of money and fire the three stooges
