Cops FLEE Pursuit Crash | Caught and FIRED – Everything Law and Order Blog

What would happen if a police officer initiates a pursuit with a fleeing vehicle, then that vehicle crashes, and the officer says, oh well, and drops the pursuit, leaving the scene? He just leaves; doesn’t stop to help; doesn’t call an ambulance; just turns the other direction and heads to Dunkin Donuts? Is that a civil rights violation? You might be surprised.

  1. that's so sick, so basically cops can provoke a wreak and have no responsability about the wreak they caused? through the loop hole of having no obligation to help someone… that's just sound wrong…

Also, isn't it weird that cops would have no obligations to perform their duty… I mean most jobs if you decide to not serve a guest or a customer you'd get fire over it… and law enforcement sort of sounds like a job with more responsabilities than serving a guest or a customer.

  2. I know law forcement officers have a duty to protect the PUBLIC AS A WHOLE and do not owe any such simgle person any specific duty of care to individual members of the public.

  3. All those bystander s standing around running their mouths acting like the criminal that crashed was a victim !! DON'T RUN FROM THE POLICE, Especially with your lights OFF !!

  4. I had a similar episode years ago.eft a daylight bright retail area and forget to turn on headlights for a couple of blocks. My lights were on by the time the officer stopped me. I explained I didn't notice the need for a few blocks. He was reasonable, I had no nefarious purpose and had already turned them on. No ticket. Politeness does help. Many not in Texas.

  5. I think that without a chaser, there's no runner to injure innocent citizens . The cops were caught violating their own policy and standards that could open them up to a lawsuit. But no direct law violation. Sadly

  6. I mean he did wanna get away and he got what he wanted correct? But at his own cost. If he wants to endanger others then why would he complain when he crashes and the cops he running from ain’t helping🤣🤦‍♂️. Equal rights hu✊, cry it some more🥺💀😂😂🗣️
