  1. If police know more than the accused and therefore won't disclose the reason verbally, they will get a signed warrant by a judge for seizing property in an ongoing investigation. The warrant is what gives them the right to seize property. Without it, it's called theft. Or robbery, especially when force is involved obtaining the property.

  2. The sign "Normal Police" is very funny. Yes, this is very normal. Cops constantly misunderstand, misrepresent, misuse, or outright dismiss the laws in order to abuse their power. Then the misconduct is excused and almost waived due to qualified immunity. I was once arrested in what was a clear retaliation for refusing to give a witness statement for a bar fight I WASN'T WITNESS TO. This of course would and could have been verified after reviewing the security footage. I arrived after the fight, literally five minutes before the police arrived. Spent a whole night in the drunk tank, nearly missed my shitty job the next day and the investigating officer had the nerve to tell me, "You could have let us know you weren't a witness." Like what? Its not my job to assist you in your investigation. But also I DID FSCKIN TELL YOU. Whatever. Its fine.

  3. The most demoralizing thing to me about videos like this are when he says "what happened to this person was fucked up and they sued over it, but that shit's still pending" like AAAAAAAGH why is there slow justice or no justice in SO many cases like this

  4. That's F'd up, I've never gotten so heated watching one of these. Emotional and physical trauma much? Ye those officers need to be fired and she needs to be compensated for being put through that.

  5. I'm sure even if she kicked the cops, it's resisting a illegal arrest. But good luck providing that in court, the whole justice system is corrupt and are always on the side of tyrants.

  6. cops should not be able to not disclose reasons for search, seizure, or arrest because then how will a civilian know if they are being lawfully arrested. same as they can get away with 'acting with in the course of their duties' or what not, do we as civilians as citizens not get the right to defend ourselves!? how would something be considered a crime like resisting if they never told us lawfully we are under arrest, which would mean telling us why we are! because any reasonable person would not want to be forcefully detained or kidnapped and will fight for their life to be free! you dont give me a reason to detain or arrest me. in my perception and in reasonable recourse to the officers actions i will defend myself from false imprisonment, kidnapping, assult, and else wise.

  7. really though if they can break the laws to defend themselves so can we! that is pathetic disgusting behavior for a complying victim! thats messed up! we have the rights to defend ourselves!! and they have the right to do the job the took a oath to!!

  8. Where do they get a warrant!? She was complying and trying to give what she got they have no reason to believe she would delete it. They can not seize the phone they can't take it unless they believe she will destroy it! She is working with them. There's no ras that she would destroy evidence!

  9. If you somehow see this. You have to do an update. As of this year,2024. She was arrested on the charges and the two civil rights lawyers that filed her suit withdrew because new information came into light

  10. US law doesnt seem to cover an surprise attack by cops.
I bet half the cases if told "I am going to arrest you now" would go peacefully. But here and in other videos the cops just rush a person to do so. Ofc anyone would defend themselves out of reflex.

  11. When she said “I came back with you because I trusted you and look what you are doing to me”, that made my heart hurt. I hope she wins and I hope everyone that had anything to do with this, get fired. Because we can’t have these kind of officers that can’t even handle a teen, in the streets. How can you serve and protect if you can’t even handle a situation such as this.

  12. There should not be any laws preventing a person from defending themselves against illegal searches and illegal arrests. How is it that the constitution says that there should be no laws that violate the constitution so how is it that you can be jailed for defending yourself against what amounts to the face of terror in police uniform.

  13. giving the victim a B was unjustified . if u uncomfortable givin her max rank in a situation where she was 💯 %correct jus bc she could have been wrong if things went down diff, implement an S tier in ur sys . n grant her her A . i didn't dislike ur video . tho i did unlike it .
