  1. A jury has awarded $14.5 million to a wrongfully convicted man. The seven-person jury on Tuesday decided that Ray McCann Jr. was due $12.5 million in compensatory damages, plus $2 million in punitive damages to send a warning to other police officers that the tactics used against McCann were not acceptable.

  2. If they did this to him then all the cases that these police officers worked on are now suspect. If they did this to one person how many more people have they put in jail who are innocent? Could be many.

  3. Police interrogators will try and convict anyone to make themselves look good. They do not care about getting to the truth. They only think of themselves much like Donny Mc Trump does.

  4. when i was 17 i was charged with a burgalry , i didnt do it but i did recieve the stolen goods, i took a lie detecor test and failed it, i said it was because i had the stolen items but they said no i was lying about breaking in, i never broke in , i dont trust polygraphs ever since.

  5. Lying about the DNA should tarnish the integrity & reputation of all police officers involved. Their integrity should be questioned in every case after this one.

  6. They prosecuted him for perjury just shows they wanted to hem him up on something as they very rarely prosecute anyone for perjury and it is not worth time nor money…

  7. My family saw an old lady fall. My sister wanted to jump out the car and help her. Na d my dad said dont lm she'll say you hurt her. I completely understand him now. People use your kindness for weakness.

  8. This man is way too eager to talk to be guilty of anything, he has nothing to hide. Most defense lawyer will tell you to shut up and don't say anything, here is the prime example why.

  9. Poor dude, his family, coworkers, and the small town is dog piling him and all he did was be nice and make a mistake.

These cops wanna give him an attitude cuz of his mistake while so spectacularly failing in their own duties, it's a shame.

  10. Sorry but in the first 2 min I Already can discredit you. A "Reserve officer" only means they DO NOT GET PAID. My Stepdad was think kind of officer and got away with breaking my ribs…. I TRUST NO "Reserve officer" testimony out the gate since it is only fiduciary to themselves to get arrests….

  11. I live in the sierra's. I was riding my motorcyle in June and came upon a small but dangerous grass fire. I went to the nearest home, they were fighting it and so we went at it and put it out in about 10 minutes, burned 4000sqft…..Went on my way and came back 30 min later. CalFire had finally arrived and were looking things over. I stopped. THAT WAS a Mistake. I became the suspect. I simply left the scene, learned my lesson and it will Never happen again. No good deed goes unpunished. Be careful. The Law, in all forms is your enemy today.
