  1. I can't stand how stupid so many ppl are. The lady that witnessed the cat accident said they were fleeing worth a baby, yet they were actually carrying the paralyzed guy who is the size of 6 babies. And since when do multiple ppl carry a little baby at once. How that woman saw a baby is beyond me. Then the lady in the restaurant first says the couple has been there 20 or 30 mins if I'm not mistaken. Go look at their ticket in the POS , it's not rocket science. I can't stand ppl that don't pay attention to detail especially while working.

  2. They hear BLACK… That is all that computes and nothing after that does.. Angry people mad at the, "DEFUND THE POLICE," yet they are ok with police defunding themselves on tax payors dime.. Police should have to carry MALPRACTICE insurance like doctors do because BOTH have power over life and death…
CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN AND TELL THEM TO SIGN THE GEORGE FLOYD POLICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT!! Every officers poor record would be able to be seen, known by order departments and WE THE PEOPLE!!

  3. I know it’s frustrating to be accused of anything you didn’t do. But when you have your kid with you, try to prove you are not the people without getting arrested. Try to be cool. Try to avoid escalating these assholes. You can always sue them because you are innocent without getting arrested also. I do feel for them and I’m offering advise for others.

  4. You know that the police are going to be biased hen they see colour It’s like a red rag to a bull a black flag to a pig. Police are over stocked and when police get they miss their Adrenalin fix so have to make things exciting. The courts say police needn’t be intelligent but I say they should NOT be Adrenalin junkies as that is what makes the act like they do. And remember the real reason a police force was instated slave catchers …..it’s like ancestral memory to them and a lot of other Americans!

  5. They were black so met the description, later changed to wearing red with a child just like the suspects standing in front of him. Cops start to use force on couple and kid. Real suspect wearing red, still black, in bathroom. Then cops go from bathroom to join the fight they started. They were obstructing. They were resisting. They were not cooperating. They were arrested.

  6. The cops just went into Applebees and arrested every Black person they saw. They lied about the descriptions of the people involved. They continued arresting people who couldn't have committed the crime. They used excessive force, and the rest of the department backed up this racist and abusive behavior. They are ALL CORRUPT. There are no good cops.

  7. It should also be noted that the applebees manager that called the cops on them lied and said the couple had only been there for 20-25 minites and were acting suspicious becuase they asked for their food togo. She started all of this! She lied again when they showed up and said they were there for only 20 monutes but the other emplyee said they had been there. The teens in the bathroom entered in thru the togo door so no empolyee actully knew they were even in there until the cops went in the bathroom.

  8. I dislike the police as much as the next guy. But this video is not an example to me of bad police behavior. Yes, it turned out the couple had nothing to do with the hit and run. However, the police did not know that. What the police did know, at that time, was that the couple fit the description of the suspects in an otherwise empty restaurant. The police officers' suspicion of the couple was reasonable to me and detaining them was warranted. 3:053:20. The male should have stayed put and not ran off selfishly and cowardly using the baby as a shield.
And as for Bryan's assessment, the police are naturally going to have an accusatory stance when approaching someone they have "reasonable articulable suspicion" has committed a crime. Bryan seems to think the man's behavior was OK because they "live in that community" and see how people are treated by police. Shouldn't someone's response to the police be based one interaction at a time?

  9. Where does the police attitude that they can take your freedom, force you to talk to them with the barest of suspicions? Don't they have to have some connecting fact to make the suspicion reasonable. Like inquiring of the restaurant workers how long the couple had been there before trying to detain them? So often we see police officers taking a general suspicion or hunch and detaining people. If they had made a little effort and investigated they would not needed to make a violent arrest of an innocent person.
