Now what happens if that person started blasting intruders who kicked her door in and they were in fear of their life. Would she have been charged?
If any other profession went to the wrong house, they would be terminated and sued. LEOs can just say “whoops, sorry”

They knew they we’re already at the wrong apartment because they have radio clearance telling them that the suspect was already determined.

How come the delivery drivers and mail personnel can get the right address but cops can’t?

I feel bad for the cops in this one. They were trying to save a life and made a mistake. There should be some kind of accountability but they should not be in trouble for attempting to save a person in distress.
I have a legitimate question. What was happening with the actual person at the address they were supposed to go? Did I miss them having dispatch send alternate officers to investigate the intended issue?
