  1. How do we honor this clerk? Incredible man, giving credit to everyone. Humble, smart, and protective. Well done parents you raised an incredible man.

  2. Man handled??? I seen a 10 year old girl that hits harder than him he was punching that man in his back and he was not affected by them hits at all

  3. Why does Hannah bring bullets into her hotel room? What was the purpose of bringing the hotel clerk onto the stand to shame him?

  4. What angered me so much was the interview his sister and foster mother gave. They were defending him and blaming it on mental illness, much like Darrell Brooks’ family. I’m glad the injuries weren’t more serious. I hope he spends several years in prison.

  5. Probably, defendant's attorney misrepresented the likely sentence OR the defendant heard what he wanted to hear. The disappointment may have rivaled a four-year-old hearing that Christmas was canceled. The defendant has a problem with his brain function that manages responses like this.

  6. I haven't been in many courtrooms, but the ones I have been, the judges have eyes in the back of their heads. They often know everything going on in the room, it seemed. Not the first time.

  7. The law clerk is an outstanding young man. I'm glad everyone recovered, but as he said, they received letters from all around the world only to find out the offender will not be punished for harming 4 ppl. Imo it doesnt send a firm message, that type of behavior will never be tolerated. He essentially got a pass for criminal behavior.

  8. I definitely would not feel safe going to that court house. After that incident, you would think it be public knowledge on the changes they made to security to address potential issues!

  9. WTF, Judge!!
He needs more time for his clear disregard for the welfare of anyone around him. He has been allowed to bully and criminalize anyone who gets in his way. These people need to be stopped. They do not deserve empathy. They will hurt other people!!??

  10. Man turned 4 years into a life sentence. What he didn't understand was harming a judge is federal crime and its way more serious than he thinks 😂

  11. That defendant might have 'supermanned' over that desk, but Clerk Kent stepped in and saved the judge.

  12. What a fabulous young man! Thank you for all you did, not only that day in court but for all you’ve done since. All the best on your exam. You’ll make an excellent attorney. Your quick thinking and responsiveness speaks volumes and is a true testament as to who you are as an individual.

  13. I’m a retired courtroom clerk. This was always my fear, an attacking inmate. Usually, the criminal inmates were relatively behaved, but the family law parties (especially those without an attorney) were explosive. My husband is a retired deputy sheriff. I always felt more at ease when my hubby was in court with me.

  14. Homeboy was prepped well and did a good job preserving his career. However, the problem is exactly that, “It was so unexpected”. Where were you, Sir? Court. Who comes to court? Dangerous, unruly, unhinged, non-law abiding, unpredictable criminals. The fact that it was so unexpected is ridiculous and scary. These guys are trained to expect the unexpected.
