  1. once again, the justice system is heavily biased against disenfranchised people. providing demonstrably crooked female cop an almost bulletproof protection from sending to prison a young woman for almost two years on a false charge in 2008. the cop has gotten away scott free so far bc of the convoluted law on framing people. everyone knows she is a bad cop but no one cares. she herself has no regret over her misconduct. ponder yourself in the quagmire of extricating yourself from the legal system reluctance to punish lying cops.

  2. Update on this, the district court has dismissed the case and they are now appealing to 8th circuit again according to the information on the IJ website

  4. A civil rights violation should be made to protect the rights of the public pertaining to either federal and state civil liability case law. Nobody should be exempt from civil rights violations, no one. There's no puritanical reasoning.

  5. ACAB. They reliably protect each other first, including the clearly bad ones. They are therefor just as responsible for the actions of those officers they protect. And they are idiots too, because they can't seem to understand why they are so poorly thought of by the public.

  6. So the federal courts are finding that yes she did lie but if you do this as a federal officer that it's okay.

This is what our federal government has become.

This is not equal protection under the law

  7. A judge finding for summary judgment is a clear sign of malicious prosecution. As a lawyer seeking this judgment is and actually getting it is like one in a million.

  8. @The Civil Rights Lawyer
I came across this video today and had never heard of this case. This video is a year old and I would really appreciate it if you would do an update on this case. If this lying, corrupt officer with her six-figure salary is still emp!oyed, then we all need to take some serious action against this tyrant. This behavior cannot stand and being fired is not enough! She must be prosecuted, lose her qualified immunity, lock her up with a sentence stiff enough to make any other officer think long and hard before committing these crimes, and she must lose any certification that would allow her to ever work in law enforcement again. An update would be very much appreciated! Thank you for sharing this video with us!

  9. There is an incentive for cops to not know the laws they are enforcing. Remember the good faith part of qualified immunity? If the cops actually know the laws, then qualified immunity isn't in play any more – they already know they are violating the law, and yet they are doing it anyway.

  10. I’ve said it before, the cops just don’t have enough bad guys, so they make them up. How in the He!! Does this police department and this officer live with their selfs?

  12. The COP should have to spend 6 years or 3 times the time for her crimes thats 6 years. and the city should pay out 20 million compensation to the victim. Then the city should sue the police union for allowing bad cops keep their jobs.
