  1. Home then back to playing video games. That’s what it is. Wife defending him after their baby just died because video games was more important for her husband. It did not just happen just once. He left his other kids before

  2. How is he not a danger to the c ommunity? When ‘he has been driving under the influence for 3 years with minors in the car’ as per his wife!

Judges need to be hold accountable for these sort of releases too.

  3. He sounds like a user. He stays home playing video games while his wife, a doctor goes to work and provides a home for them. And he can't even handle adulting enough to not kill his daughter. He needs to go to prison.

  4. Dude is a POS. I used to play video games a lot, but actually stopped when my wife and I had children. There was no time for that. I did play off and on while they were younger as I taught them to play video games with Lego Star Wars and the first Halo. Now that they are 14-21, I don't play at all. They are begging me to play with them, so I probably will. But taking care of babies and toddlers is not compatible with playing games.

  5. Damn, so my being helicopter dad is quite warranted!

Dude probably NEVER woke multiple times at night to check their child’s breathing when they were infants because he was deathly afraid of their child dying of SIDS?

Half asleep watching in the dark to see if their chest is rising and falling as they sleep between you and your partner?

Your partner notices you waking up with your head hovering above your child because you’re paranoid AF of SIDS!

That dad? Who woke multiple times a night to check? Who always has their head on a swivel when going places with their child?

Would never leave them to cook in the car.

  6. First degree murder would require intent. This is odd. Are the laws different there or is there something else going on here? Obviously on the face of it he is culpable for negligence causing death, but to go for murder atall wouldn't be typical in this kind of case, but then to bump it up to first degree would suggest that a lot was before the grand jury that we did not see, or there is something else entirely else going on. People who neglected children to death over months or directly battered them to death because of drug freak outs didnt get murder one charges.

  7. Unacceptable. Regardless of whether the car was running with ac or not. 30 fckn min?! I'm inclined to believe it was well over 30 min. Under what circumstance would it be ok to do such a thing
